Vanity: D.C. Schools: Now Serving Dinner
Posted on 11/07/2010 11:57:51 AM PST by TigerClaws
A year ago, President Obama said that, for many of the nation's public school students, their school lunch is "their most nutritious mealsometimes their only mealof the day." Now, 10,000 kids in the nation's capital are getting an early dinner, in addition to their lunch and breakfast, at school.

This sums up the attitude of RATs:
"The beauty of this program" gushed a D.C. reporter, "is that it's free, the D.C. school district won't have to pay a dime because it's federal money.

My friend predicted this years ago. Provide breakfast, luncha nd dinner. The “parents” or breeders do not need to be responsible for anything.

Gee - kids get breakfast, lunch and dinner at school. Why not have the schools tuck them in at night too? (Why have a family at all?)
(I know, that’s the point, isn’t it? Surrogate parents.)

And you know that this program will only grow...
Is there going to be any republican no matter how conservative that will have the balls to take on the tar and feathering he/she would get if they came out against this?

In some places the children also get a backpack full of food to take home for the weekend. It is the old dilemma-do you let the kids go hungry because of delinquent parents?

If they can’t have us from cradle to grave, they’ll settle for from sun-up to sundown.

Heard the same thing from a little, blond, young newsie here in OKC...it was about breakfast and lunch in the summertime, when school isn't in session. “And it's free, you don't have to pay anything.” Also no qualification was required, only that one be 18 or younger. I guess now it will be 26 or younger!

Very soon every child will be property of the state. There will be no parents. Anywhere. They will be bred in laboratories from donated sperm and ova. After birth they will be placed in a daycare. At age 4 they will report at once to their service department for training in academics, politics, and sexual technique. Breakfast at 5.

This should make MO happy. No more “food deserts”! (Whatever that’s supposed to mean.) If their parents can’t find fresh fruit in their local liquor store at least the schools can provide them. Next, they’ll be buildings dorm rooms for “the children”. AND IT’S ALL FREE! Yipeee!!!

No one. So instead, change the menu to include things like limburger cheese sandwiches, salt-free potato chips, liver, sprouts, fruitcake and the like. Then after a few months announce that the program is being discontinued for lack of demand.

How pathetic that this president and his cohorts chose to end the scholarships that would have allowed many of these children to get a quality education and support themselves eventually.
