Mr Bush has allegedly told friends that Mrs Palin is not qualified to be president and criticises John McCain for picking her as his Running Mate in 2008
"Naming Palin makes Bush think less of McCain as a man," a Republican official close to Mr Bush told the New York Daily News.
"He thinks McCain ran a lousy campaign with an unqualified running mate and destroyed any chance of winning by picking Palin."
Mr Bush has allegedly been disparaging about Mrs Palin in the past.
Matt Latimer, former special assistant to Mr Bush, wrote in a book released last year: "'I'm trying to remember if I've met her before. I'm sure I must have.' [Mr Bush's] eyes twinkled, then he asked, 'What is she, the governor of Guam?'"

Mr Bush has allegedly ...possibly maYBE could have, might maybe have possibly probably if I remember some of it a little bit.....
LOL
I thought the “/s” was implied.
The dorks must have posted this screed 30 4 times today.
This all the hallmarks of Rove and Romney.
W is a Country Club Republican.
I was wondering if this was pitbull Chet.
Matt Latimer, former special assistant to Mr Bush, wrote in a book released last year: “’I’m trying to remember if I’ve met her before. I’m sure I must have.’ [Mr Bush’s] eyes twinkled, then he asked, ‘What is she, the governor of Guam?’”
I would think this quote would be more likely to be true as it’s given by a known aide in a tell-all. At any rate it doesn’t speak very highly of Bush as he disparages another Republican Governor and he doesn’t come off sounding terribly lucid.
Bush had carl rove has his main advisor.
What a loser.
Also, the Bushs had little respect for Reagan.
I have trouble believing that Bush would have said anything like that.
But where will I get all the latest pitbull news?
Get a friggin clue, this is intended to sow division within the Republican party folks and to try and drive a wedge between the Tea Party folk and the Republicans. There's enough problems getting the Republican party back on track by adopting Tea Party goals and principals without jumping on the “screw Bush” bandwagon every time they dangle a bit of bait in your face.
Rove and Kraut, those boys are obvious and deserve what they get so go at them. They may even be the ones spreading this crap in hopes of making Bush pick a side rather than leaving them, as they see it, hanging out to dry.
Don't fall for the ploys that will be coming thick and fast, many of them trying to build on the six years of constant anti-Bush propaganda that was so successful for the fascists. You want to hand them another victory by falling for their propaganda rather than sticking together?
This is the LAST chance, kids, if we don't hang together after this election and stick together through four or five more elections, we will sure as hell be hanging separately and I don't mean that figuratively.
Regards
LOL. His Dad thought the same thing about Reagan. Reagan had his Dad for lunch in the 1980 primaries.
LOL, wow I had to read that a few times to get that..boy it is late for me!!LOL
I didn’t see that, but it says a lot and, unfortunately, confirms the story. Also, if he’d wanted, he’d have had friendly interviewer Hannity ask him about it so he could debunk the false story. The sooner we move beyond the Bushes and the Bush operatives still out there the better.
Thank you for the ping - I’ve been looking forward to that ZOT for a long, long time.
i wonder if theres a laura clip of this on the internet i can listen to. It makes me sick if this story is true.
Glad I could help!!!!!:^))
W is no Ronald Reagan. But that”s obvious.
Or was it simply because his wife would have pitched a fit if he had? Just something to think about. :)
Anyway, how did Abe Lincoln figure into this?
My point is, it bothers me the way people seem to worship Palin in the same way people worship Obama.
It’s creepy.
Sorry, but I’ll remain cautious and not be so eager to jump into Sarah’s fan club until I feel some degree of certainty that she’s the best candidate.
This is a load of horse manure.
Yeah, she’s a chick, so? So am I.
And I’ll be the first to admit she’s smart, she’s beautiful....so are plenty of other “chicks”, but that doesn’t mean they’d make good presidents.
I guess I’m not as easily sold as some.
