it quotes one unnamed Republican official who says that McCain's Palin decision made "Bush think less of McCain as a man."

Eh... that just doesn't ring right. I'm not buying it. That just doesn't sound like something he would say, or the way he would say it, even if he thought it.

I find it hard to believe that Bush would speak negatively of Palin behind her back. That just doesn’t fit his character.

I am not a great Palin fan, but her great strength is her common sense, in contrast to the fundamental problem with everyone else on the Washington looking for complex and nuanced answers to all of our problems, middle ways, compromises and win-win solutions that are mostly lose-lose for the taxpayer.

Regan said it best: They say the world has become too complex for simple answers. They are wrong. There are no easy answers, but there are simple answers. We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right. Winston Churchill said that "the destiny of man is not measured by material computation. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we are spirits -- not animals." And he said, "There is something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty"

As much as I like George W.Bush,I think a lot of People said the same thing about him. That he was Not qualified to be President.

But we all know that he turned out fine and I’m sure Sarah Palin will turn out just as well.

hearsay bullcrap.

I’ll wait to hear it from Bush himself.

The rest of these unnamed morons can shove it.

Pissing on Sarah Palin only makes the media and these so-called anonymous Republican insiders small.

Couldn’t have anything to do with the idea that Bush is really a liberal.

It doesn't identify any of the Bush friends and sources by name and it quotes one unnamed Republican official who says that McCain's Palin decision made "Bush think less of McCain as a man."

Why does anyone care about this!

“It doesn’t identify any of the Bush friends and sources by name and it quotes one unnamed Republican official who says that McCain’s Palin decision made “Bush think less of McCain as a man.””???

GWB, father of daughters, thinks the world of his mother and obviously is still in love with his wife would never say something like that about putting a woman on the ticket.

Not one person spoke for attribution in this story. It’s all fabrication designed to trash both GWB and Palin. Since when do we believe the lsm on anything? But now we’re suppposed to believe that Bush, who never fought back against his detractors, has suddenly turned into a backstabber a la Carter?

For the record Bush and McCain were not that cordial to begin with. (revisit details of the 2000 campaign)

GWB won’t even come out and comment on Obama, he sure as heck isn’t about to knock Palin.

Someone’s making stuff up (again/still).

Bush is still a RINO in my opinion. His opinion of Palin means nothing to me.

Bush is a progressive republican, of course he dislikes anyone from the country class that comes close the ethereal plane of the ruling class.
