MSNBC host Keith Olbermann made campaign contributions to two Arizona members of Congress and failed Kentucky Senate candidate Jack Conway ahead of Tuesdays election a potential violation of NBC ethics policies.
Olbermann, who acknowledged the contributions in a statement to POLITICO, made the maximum legal donations of $2,400 apiece to Conway and to Arizona Reps. Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords. He donated to the Arizona pair on Oct. 28 the same day that Grijalva appeared as a guest on Olbermanns Countdown show.

“Doesnt anyone care about how his brother, Rachel Maddow, feels about this?”
She’ll have to be the Man of the House now.
Oh.... WAIT.....
Lol, MSNBC cant even find a replacement who has clean hands. They might just have to show a “test pattern” tonight.
Too funny!
> Update: The Nations Washington DC editor Chris Hayes will be filling in tonight.
> Update: MSNBC now says Hayes will not be filling in, after reports came out that he, too, has donated to Democratic campaigns this cycle.
Awesome... the Dims are eating their own.
The number of human beings that actually like Keith Olbermann is probably very, very small.
I’m a little surprised to find that news anchors aren’t allowed to exercise their right to donate to politicians they agree with. I hate Olbermann but I don’t approve of this. It’s HIS money.
Sometimes Friday news is GOOD.
Hahahahahhahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
HA HA....jerk!
I agree. NBC isn’t trying to pass Olbermann off as some sort of objective news anchor, are they? I think it’s BS that he got suspended for putting his money where his fat mouth is. It doesn’t really make much sense to me, given his obvious liberalism.
That bass turd. He donated to Giffords and La Raza’s Boycott Fatboy! What a pig! If he ever shows his @$$ around this part of Arizona, I’ll put a boot in it!
This is ...
a) Bush’s fault
b) Unexpected
c) Series
d) All the above
..and the Legend continues!
..very HUGH!!
Will MSNBC ever find a replacement for Olbermann? How hard will it be to find another white guy to man the airwaves and falsely accuse the TEA partiers of not having any diversity?
When your show is basically a free advertisement for the Dems you support, not enough reach with around 1 million voters.
I thought it was BOTH of them. I've apparently missed by 30%!
That was according to Dem pollsters...
Thwy are making room for the Alan Grayson Show.
Sshssshhhh...Didn't you get the memo? We're supposed to keep all that on the DL...
LMAO! :)
