The White House will, of course, stay in Washington but the heart of the famous building will move to India when President Barack Obama lands in Mumbai on Saturday.
Communications set-up, nuclear button, a fleet of limousines and majority of the White House staff will be in India accompanying the President on this three-day visit that will cover Mumbai and Delhi.
He will also be protected by a fleet of 34 warships, including an aircraft carrier, which will patrol the sea lanes off the Mumbai coast during his two-day stay there beginning Saturday. The measure has been taken as Mumbai attack in 2008 took place from the sea.

I’ve been saying the same thing for several days now. Ever since I first heard his nuke stuff was with him. I went so far at to contemplate him as the ultimate suicide bomber.

The extravagance of this trip should be plastered all over the press...it isn’t. Everything of this trip stinks.

My thoughts exactly. I know it’s probably not. That it’s probably just a spoiled child exhibiting his wealth and power. But it’s just so bizarre in a pinch yourself sort of way. Who needs this kind of firepower? What will be left vulnerable and unguarded while those naval vessels are babysitting him? And people complained when they let GWB fly the fighter jet for a few minutes. Ah for the days of a president who clears his own brush, thinks pbj sandwiches are a treat and has a wife who wears Maybelline makeup. Seems like a lifetime ago in two years. Please no more elitists.But yes it does seem very spooky.
What exactly can these warships DO if something happens to the President?
He’s taking what... 2+ battlegroups? A HUGE entourage. If he were taking troops, he’d be taking a full regiment. What the is THAT about?
Beck was focusing on the threat to the President during his trip. I say look closer to home.

And...just what if we need these warships for something while he is gone and they are over there? Nice to know all our enemies know we don’t have these warships available, they know where they are going to be sitting, and that it would take a while to deploy them elsewhere in case of an attack.
