Why go on national TV and throw a temper tantrum?
He can believe what he wants privately; you don’t trash your own people, especially after THE PEOPLE OF DELAWARE chose her for the election run.
He didn’t have to lie; all he had to do was take the high road and just shut his pie hole. He chose to act like a moron and trash one of our people publically, and it helped the enemy.
The enemy in front of you is a lot easier to deal with than when you have a supposed ally opening a hole in the perimeter BEHIND you.
One team, One Fight. It’s a real simple concept.
Then I guess you need to fight for more qualified people. Truthfully, I would not have wanted to vote for her. After all that witch stuff, she came off like a nut. I don’t like witches and I didn’t know anyone in high school who messed with witchcraft. The GOP needs to nominate people who can win. That’s all I’m saying. And how many people do you think didn’t vote for her because of what Rove said?
COD was the poster child boogeyman that Democrats loved to talk about as a way to demonize Republicans as a whole. "Vote for a Republican, and nutters like her will be running the country." Democrats I spoke/debated with prior to the election loved talking about her, and it wasn't because of anything Rove said. It was because of her.
I'd probably agree that Rove went too far, but I completely understand the desire to distinguish the party as a whole from the attractive, but otherwise sorely lacking, COD.
