This means West will be Rush’s rep, yes?
Nor should he! He’d make a great Speaker of the House. And who says he’s had no experience. Maybe all that experience for the “old way” needs to go by the wayside and we need to get someone into the job who brings a fresh vision.
Besides, anyone who has ever been a Colonel in the United States military knows darned well how to get things done, so he ought to be exempt from that tarnished old saw of “This is how it’s done around here.”
We need fresh vision, not the same old crackpot ideas.
And appropos of Madam Stupid San Fran Nan, we haven’t seen any congratulatory headlines from her corner either this morning. Such class! Or from Dutchess Diane. Hope she’s watching the elections too. There’s a defeat out there with her name on it at the next poll period for her.
We need Col. West for president.
I grew up in Coral Springs, FL, my folks moved there in 1971, I am a UF grad and we never heard Spanish unless we were down below Miramar. The demographics have definitely changed there, for the better I think. Definitely a migration of NE corridor drones during the 1960's,70's and early 80's but like me and my family we moved back up north when the great housing bubble of the early 2000's hit and we found housing prices unaffordable. Lots of the kids of the snowbirds are moving back to Philly, Suburban NYC, NJ and Long Island. I left there in 2004 and never looked back, the oppressive 9 month Summers, the bugs, the high taxes, the flaky people, the traffic. At Thanksgiving we used to have 25 people around two tables at my Grandma's house in Pembroke Pines. Now we have only 1 person, my Mom still down there. The rest of us scattered to North Carolina, Mass, Pa and Long Island.
A great American. Also thrilled to see the veteran Adam Kinzinger win in IL after his slimeball opponent had her supporters taunt him while wearing hitler mustaches.

Look, There are a couple of Republican, Conservative American Blacks elected last night by a combination of Black, White and Hispanic voters. This, IMHO, is a clear sign of what is to come. Slowly, but surely, segments of Black Americans realize that Democrat politicians like Obama and the CBC ilk ain’t cutting the mustard for the rank and file Black folk here in the USA!!! Methinks, at the end of the day diversity and assimilation is underway, slowly, but neverless, underway!!! And.....this is very good for American Blacks and the good ole USA!!! Being held and chained to the bottom of the economic totem pole by Obama and his Democrat party is no way to go through life. Onward, Americans and damn Obama, his ilk and the Democrat Party of slaveholders!!!

This is great news, I was so happy when West was declared the winner.
I have high hopes and wish nothing but the best for Col. West...he is impressive; however, we have lots of Veterans in congress...John Kerry, John McCain, the late John Murtha, and many others, (both president Bush's). I am a Viet Nam vet, but while the experience is invaluable, it obviously doesn't insure conservative thinking...myself excluded of course.
Both my husband and I (with some fantastic friends) attending Lt. Col. West’s, now Congressman West’s victory party last night in Boca and I still can’t wipe the smile off my face (or stop the tears).
I’ve said for years, Lt. Col. is THE real deal and last night, thankfully, Florida voters, in an area I’d given up on, listened and has sent the right man to DC. Thank you Lord!!!
After two years of dealing with ugly liberals in Palm Beach, dealing with nasty Klein voters and Klein himself; who ran the most disgusting and ugliest race I’ve ever seen, let me say this...the best man won - GET OUR OF ALLEN’S SEAT, RONNY; ugly finally came back to bit you in the rear.
The CBC leadership has literally said, as recently as yesterday, when it look like Lt. Col. West would win, that he was NOT welcome into the CBC. Disgusting bunch aren’t they?
