Karl Rove was just on the Fox News morning show. When asked who deserves the credit for the Republican tsunami he mentioned Obama but no credit at all for the Tea Party. He also gloated over his forecasting prowess.

Rove is a political consultant, like Dick Morris, like Carville, and like Matilin. When they said that a political consultant was caught with a prostitute, I thought it was a redundency. There isn’t a single political conviction among them, save one: “I can make a lot of money fooling the people.”
What prognosticating prowess did he show? All night he was saying Republicans would gain 8 or 9 Senate seats and apparently he is wrong about that—unfortunately! But then Cook and Sabato were off there too. Senate races can be tricky and surprising though. Often they do not conform to prior predictions, and that seems to be the case this year.
The Tea Party.....particularly Sarah Palin....is what drove people to the polls because they brought enthusiasm and yes HOPE to the people.
“Also Nikki Haley only won SC with 52% of the vote. Which is AWFUL for SC.”
Look at the whole picture. All state-wide races in SC were taken by conservatives, not RINOs. Plus we get a good conservative speaker in newly elected Congressman Tim Scott.
Lots of RINOs voted for Haley’s opponent. In SC, RINOs are nothing more than democrats hiding their Marxism. The good citizens here are in the process of removing these RINOs. More will fall in 2012.
He also gave us Chris Coons.
I think it's time for him to leave the scene.
We categorize his presence on FOX the same as Shep Smith: when we hear their voices we turn the channel.
The Malignant Bastard should retire and open up an adenoid ranch in California.
He is trapped in that Washington bubble. Like it or not, he will have to start looking at everything through a different prism now. I think he will come and if not, he will also lose.
Karl needs to turn off the passions engendered by the TEA Party. That passion for political activism is a direct threat to his job and well being.
But, I don't see any chance of that happening. In fact, it is more likely to accelerate and increase. Many TEA Partiers from multiple states have said this is the first step and they fully intend to watch the freshmen Congress Critters to ensure they aren't corrupted by the long term residents inside the beltway.
Sorry Karl, there is a new political animal walking the plains of America. He is large and hungry. If you don't change you will become a prey not part of the hunting pack. Charles Darwin can be a real B**ch at times.
Yeah, well Sean, Dick, Newt and Karl can go take a long bath together!
Did I leave anyone out of the hot tub?!
The irony is that Reagan gets pegged with the "trickle down" label in spite of his policies favoring small businesses, and rank and file, productive Americans.
Karl Rove needs to shut up and go crawl under a rock with the rest of the snakes.
WE all need to let Fox News know we are totally “over” Tokyo Rove and stop putting him on night and day. I can hardly bear to look at the jerk after what he did to Christine O’Donnell.
How is Alaska a “blown seat”?
He did what he could. He was just one man. The even moreso then, corporate, merchantilitst, big gov/big tax RINO GOP staffed 99% of the positions. There just was enough conservative/free market soldiers in the party ranks.
It’s still that way, but the RNC/GOP feels the heat, push back and there are more of our infiltrators now.
Watch out for the Arlen Specter loving David Kean type CINO’s ( Conservatives In Name Only types )
Rove is a fool. The Tea Party movement saved the GOP. It gave it energy and a message. Rove is ignoring the massive impact of the Tea Party at the state and local levels. Who does he think changed the composition of state legislatures and governors? Anyone who believes that the sclerotic, out of touch GOP establishment had anything to do with the victories on Tuesday is nuts. And where does King Karl think that so much of the money to fund these candidates came from.
Yes, the elections were by and large a referendum on Obama, but without the Tea Party there would not have been the turnout and funding necessary to win. What an idiot.
