If they counted them early, there is no way they could keep the number under wraps. It would leak and then either side would be persuaded to vote or not to vote. IMHO
I’m an election judge in a Minneapolis suburb and we’ve had steady voting all day. Over half of registered voters already.
Gray Maine: two in the afternoon and traffic is stopped in both directions as people try to get to the polls. Never have seen it like this.
Sorry I’m late, everyone! I spent all morning assembling quotes from each Democrat national candidate. As each one fails his or her reelection bid, I will read these tidbits to the friends and family gathered around the television tonight.

Well that does make sense. There were also people that were bringing their early ballots to the poll and depositing them there.

Well, y’all, I voted just before lunch! Not all that many voters during the noon hour, but turnout is expected to be heavy today.
Then I celebrated by having a Mexican lunch near the polling place—pork ribs, to fight Muhammadan world domination!!!!
No one should be complacent. Vote as if your life—and the lives of those you love—depends upon it. Because it DOES!!!!

Where I live no ballots are opened and counted until election day. They do check signatures though and will toss those that don’t match the voter registration.

I’m listening to Christine now on the local yokel.
She says the internal polling has her and Coons neck in neck. Take that for what it’s worth.
She claims that Sussex county can win this for her. Delaware only has 3 counties. Newcastle is the largest populated and Coons is counting on them.
Supposedly the Coons campaign is sending out emails stating they’re not happy with the turnout in Newcastle.
Christine is right now going to Lewes and Bridgeville voting places for those in Delaware.
I’m talking to Christine about helping her write her book. woman definitely needs a book, you think, no matter the outcome? She likes my writing but I don’t know about being a ghost-writer. Plus, I’m a nobody....she can probably get the best. BUT....well it was MY piece that immediately preceded the endorsement by Palin....I’m jus’ sayin’.
She sounds giddy and I’m not sure about Coons going all public with concerns about voter turnout, heck, it’s been reported on Rush for God’s sake. Why would they admit this so early in the day?
I voted early, so I didn’t see the polls (some of us still have to work today!) My wife however reveled in it this morning. She sent me a message describing the polling place:
“...at the church there was a big group holding fire Pelosi signs (they all applauded me as I was leaving because I told them how I would be voting today) and there were two lonely sullen little Ann Kirkpatrick [AZ district 1) supporters, mwuhahaha.”
Me: I’m glad you had fun!

I was walking in and they greeted me and one guy said “would you like a list of Republicans to vote for?” and I said, “thank you sir I know Im voting for Conservatism today” and he said alright! Then as I was walking out he most have told that whole group cause they all started clapping, hehe”
I highly suggest you put “The Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors” in your Amazon Christmas list. It’s probably the most complete book about the battle of Samar that I’ve read.
I am in KS and signs posted that promotional sign or litature not allowed so very quiet. Have a Gov race going here and as always a yes/no on judges. Added were two bills - right to carry arms and should the mentally ill be allowed to vote.
One of the ladies handing out “I Voted” stickers said the turnout was very good. All 8 machines were busy . . . I did notice one caucasian, one black and the rest hispanic. First time I have been there and seen ANY hispanics. Interesting . . .
On something like this we can punish places like Harrah's. Don't go there ever and tell them why.

I think of every election today, her winning would be by far the most satisfying.
Can you imagine watching MSNBC, CBS, NBC etc... as they report it? It would be the ultimate in schadenfreude. Even better if she came out to “Witchy Woman” by The Eagles, and told the media to shove it.
I also think it would be a huge boost out west. If she wins and the race is called by say 9PM, there’d still be 2 hours left to vote in CA and WA and I think that could make a huge difference there.
Lets hope DE is down with COD
