Turkey: Ankara adds Israel to list of strategic security threats

Turkey and Israel are at it again, but this time it's over reports that Turkey has added Israel to its so-called "Red Book," the top-secret security document that lists the country's threats and enemies.

Israeli tourism minister Stas Misezhnikov struck back on Sunday by calling on Israelis to boycott Turkey as a tourist destination out of "national honor."

According to Turkish media, the Red Book, which is amended every five years, now identifies Israel as a "strategic threat" to Turkey.

The document, which is drawn up by Turkey's National Security Council, accuses Israel of being a destabilizing force and says Israeli actions could provoke a regional arms race.

Conflicting reports emerged over whether or not Iran, considered a major security threat by Turkey's NATO allies, had been removed from the same list.

Although the contents of the Red Book are ostensibly a state secret, leaks to the Turkish press indicate Ankara is losing patience with Israel and wants to send a message.

The problems between Turkey and Israel were clearly the intent and result of the policy of the Islamofascists running Turkey (for now).

The Turks have officially pissed off everyone except for Iran, and the Iranians don't plan to share. Their pact with Turkey is just exactly like the Ribbentrop-Molotov agreement, except that the victims in the middle have already had their nations divided between these Islamofascist powers.

Time to support a Kurdish independent state.

Too bad. For most of my lifetime, Turkey has been a valuable ally. They guarded NATO's flank, and I remember that Turkish troops fought next to the unit of an old friend of mine in Korea.

Now they have seemingly repudiated Kemal Ataturk and gone to the dogs.

And start talking about that little thing that happened with the Armenians.

I agree, it is too bad that the Islamofascists in Turkey have repudiated Ataturk for decades, and are now in power. :’) I’d like to think that the Turks will someday rehabilitate themselves and succeed in sweeping Islam completely out of their society, but I don’t think that’s realistic.

Actually, they had already reached that time when they wouldn’t let us pass our troops through there on the way to Baghdad; which added tremendously to the “hard slog” up from Kuwait. Since then, everything between us has been down hill.

It looks like Ezekiel 38-39 and Zecharia 14 will begin by August 2011. Obama will be a big player. A Republican controlled Congress cannot stop him. The Constitution grants the President unlimited powers in the running of day to day foreign policy. He only needs Congress to declare wars and needs the Senate to ratify treaties. The Congress has the additional power for funding expensive foreign policy enterprises. Other than these three things foreign policy is his ball of wax. For Obama and his “liberation theology” platform he will not be able to pass his domestic agenda through Congress. He will still have regulatory powers to enforce bills that have already been passed, but his main focus will be in foreign policy and in relieving the “yoke” of oppression upon the Muslim world. According to “liberation theology” and Rev. Jeremiah Wright, his mentor, this is the key to his salvation. Therefore, he is a driven man. In his mind the number one oppressor of the world's 1.2 billion Muslims is Israel. He will therefore use the willing Quartet (EU, Russia, US, and the UN) and the UN Security Council to shove a Palestinian State down Israel's throat. He will therefore take a pivotal role in dividing Jerusalem (ala Zecharia 14) and in sending NATO, Russian, and UN peace keeping troops (ala Ezekiel 38) See here http://english.aljazeera.net/news/middleeast/2010/07/201071715237381855.html. The Pals and the UN have already agreed on an August deadline date to do this. See here http://www.jpost.com/MiddleEast/Article.aspx?id=192836 and here http://www.jpost.com/Home/Article.aspx?id=191610

According to Micah 5:2 Jerusalem will be divided for nine months, the period of a woman's pregnancy. G-d will then have his revenge on all the nations that come up against Jerusalem (Zecharia 14) with the effects of a nuclear war. This all fits pretty nicely into the two year time frame of Obama’s time left in office.

Why! The only answer is they now and always have considered the Jew their enemy.

It's a bit more complex than that. Turkey and Israel were allies until a few years ago and even conducted some joint military exercises. Remember that Turkey was the most secular and westernized country in the Moslem world since its modern incarnation in the 1920s, and was even a member of NATO. But a few years ago, Turkey elected a pro-Islamist government that has pulled them toward Islamist extremism. Not surprising that its relationship with Israel has deteriorated while those with Iran and Syria have improved. Unless it changes its government back to where it was before this, Turkey will pay a huge price for siding with these barbarians, far greater than the nine "martyrs" it created by sponsoring the Gaza "aid" flotilla.

When it comes to Jewish/Arab history It can't be measured in decades. Even Egypt saw fit to try and give Israel an olive branch in the last century. Sadat is dead because of history. We can dissect the bible and find bit's of cooperation but historically the people are enemies and no amount of parsing will change that.
