What a moment! George Bush 41 and George Bush 43 entered the stadium together tonight to throw out the first ball at the World Series. THE CROWD ROARED. Then GW threw a strike to home plate catcher Nolan Ryan to start off game 4. Barbara Bush was taking photos in the stands.
What a wonderful moment.
What you are looking at is class times 2. I didn’t agree with everything the Bushes did, but I never impuned their integrity nor did I ever have one doubt of their patriotism, or love of this country. I cannot say the same about Obama.
If I had been in Arlington, I’d have cheered twice as loud, and twice as long.
God Bless George H.W. & George W. Bush. I am proud to have called them Presidents Of The United States of America.
Sorry you don’t see my way, but then, this is America and you are still entitled to your opinion, until Obama and his gang get around to taking it away from you.
How wonderful for you and your family that your husband was part of such a lovely event.
The Rangers would be better off with W replacing Darren O’Day in their bullpen.
And what pains me to say that is that O’Day is a Gator Alum.
Take it to another thread, party pooper.
I rest my case.
As you’ve said, I’ve seen the calls go both ways. It is as its ever been with baseball. I just hope the officiating is above board.
The NBA is clearly fixed, and has been since the early 90’s.
How can you call 48 fouls in one quarter against one team, and only 2 on the other?
thank you ma’am. This is a much better one than I posted on Dose & there may have been more there I missed, just too tired to look
Thanks, this lifts the mood.
I worry about President Bush not having secret service protection after 2018. I remember Clinton passed that by executive order, but of course he excluded himself and he has life time protection.
I loved seeing this tribute to 41 and 43. They deserved that ovation, and I loved the chants of USA USA. I hope Texas can keep it going.
When I cranked it up to 95mph, I couldn’t even SEE it! (though hearing it was frightening enough!)

Actually, I believe(Obama) did do that

Watching a slow motion playback of his pitch delivery, the president said that his problem was that he just released the ball a little too early and high contrary to his practice rounds at the White House earlier in the week.
ohhh, thank you, Starwise! This is terrific. I just love when our dear W gets the rousing reception that he deserves. I hope it helps him to know how many Americans do love him.
The crowd noise on this seems to be a lot louder than what I heard on Fox. Just the media manipulating the news?
WOW! How did they keep such a large flag from touching the ground? Was it a very stretchy fabric?
I only watch college basketball. Baseball in fact is the only pro sport I will watch with any regularity (and not much of that). There’s something about it still being an amateur sport at the college level, though that status is precarious in the extreme, that makes the games somehow fresher and more fun to participate in.
Check it out .. there was music and the announcer,
but the cheering and the cheering crowds you can see
seem pretty loud.

But this by a fan is deafening, which I’m sure has
to be tempered by the broadcasters so their transmission
of the music, announcer can be heard. But WOW .. they
were roaring! Thanks for the post .. it made me go looking .. LOL.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh Yeah! Now that’s deafening loud!
Of course. The folks in the channel control booths work there because they like to control viewing. And they went to communications school, not Hillsdale.
