Those Democrats were just too focused on doing the right thing for the American people. And gosh darn it, they were "successful."
Unfortunately, in their determination to save the country, they forgot about "politics" and "messaging." That's why they're facing defeat at the polls two days from now. So went Christiane Amanpour's rationalization on GMA today.

"They tape the shows and then all sit around and watch themselves. The MSM is playing to the MSM." Kinda like "performance art."

CHRISTIANE AMANPOUR:
"It's the messaging, Democrats admitting that some of the successful legislation they've passed and successful breaks and successful stimulus for many people, simply the message hasn't got out. And the president himself told the New York Times that perhaps they were too focused on what they said was doing the right thing in terms of policy and not being as concerned or as attentive to politics and the politics of those actions."There is only one way to describe this: Christiane is dumber than a box of rocks.

Yes, I heard they were getting hitched and I thought, “Two elitist snobs. Perfect for each other.” If they have kids, their noses must be so upturned they’re in danger of drowning when it rains.

Maybe Obama should have appeared in front of his own press corps to tout those extensive successes. Apparently Gibbs is not getting the job done.

Good catch. They really all suddenly get “on message” all at once even with the supposed demise of JournOlist.
Yet another data point here that Amanpoor / CNN are virtual employees of the DNC and the White House.

She is Tokoyo Rose with a different accent, IMO.
She wears her bias like a hair shirt on all occasions.

I disagree with Amjenningswhore so the empirically supported fact and reason based absolute truth of the matter is that she is chronically stupid.

I dunno. Between his own words in his autobiographies, his ultra-left legislative record, his close working relationships with ACORN and the Democratic Socialists of America and their various front groups, and his numerous career long associations with far-left radicals and socialists, I got the message loud and clear, even if Obama hadn’t reinforced it every time he opened his mouth (”spread the wealth around”, “fundamentally transform America,” etc).

Yeah right. They needed to make sure those people who don’t have jobs believe that they really have one. They need to convince us that trillions is just a few more billion. They need to convince us that our health premiums didn’t go up. And they need to convince us that it is...Bush’s fault.
