WASHINGTON (AP) -- Whatever the outcome of Tuesday's election, it's time to put aside partisanship, President Barack Obama is telling Democrats and Republicans.
Yet his appeal for unity includes a jab at GOP leaders in the House and Senate for comments that the president said were troubling.

I wonder if Obama will pull a “Is Paris Burning” routine on us? (Hitler ordering Paris burned to ground when he had to withdraw in defeat and humiliation.) ie-get so mad at the American people he will do a scorched earth on us and undermine our secruity more than he already has?
He is 100pct right. The subpoenas and investigations into this administrations corruption should be bipartisan!!

I think this is an excellent proposal. Here are our principles:
1) Government is best which governs least.
2) Governments are instituted among men to protect our God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
3) Those institutions derive their power from the consent of the governed.
4) Governments that become destructive of those ends are rightfully liable to be replaced either peacefully or by force if they will not yield.
When the gangsters in the White House meet us on that common ground, then Barack Obama, no doubt realizing he cannot advance his socialist agenda, will resign and we can go about repairing the damage he’s done.

Common Ground for the American People is Obummer grounded, put out to pasture. There it is said Obummer is King Neb (Old Testament) he goes crazy and spends days eating grass in the pasture with dew collecting on his back. Actually I don’t think he would consider our “common ground” common. Anything right of dead left could not be “common” by the terms he has laid out to us for the last 2 years.
Sitting Democrat politicians are personal friends with sitting Republican politicians. All this badmouthing that we see going on is for the voters only. These people work side by side with each other four years at a time. Zero will not have any trouble getting done what he wants done.
Us voters on FR are the radicals. Ask a politician from either party and they will agree with what I’ve written.
President Obama asks GOP to find common ground
He calls us enemies. He threatens hand to hand combat with us, ridicules us, ignores us, bashes us, insults us, shuts congressional doors in our representative’s faces and now he asks GOP to find common ground.
Is this man not aware of the extreme anger out there and the resulting quest for revenge? Geez!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can agree to share ground with Obama. He can be underground and I will piss on it
