The Fairleigh Dickinson University poll of these news articles say this poll was taken from 20 - 26, and the website has a 28th release date, BUT the poll that is shown and link to at their website was taken on the 6th of October. It looks like something stinks here.

Why would you expect Mike Castle to endorse someone who had made such outrageous accusations against him and had previously run as a write-in candidate against a Republican nominee for Senate?! Mike Castle is a liberal Republican, but I don’t know him to be a dishonest person. Why should he endorse someone he knows is so deceitful—is that an ethical thing to do, just because she has sometimes been a Republican?

GOOD & HONEST CONSERVATIVES In my estimation, that aptly describes Christine O'Donnell, the next Senator from Delaware regardless of what contrived polls might say.
I liked her from the start but her wisdom concerning the real meaning of the First Amendment (as opposed to the blubbering fool Coons) further cemented my support for her as a true Constitutional Conservative.
I'm in Texas so my vote can't be cast for O'Donnell but she's in my prayers. And prayer CAN AND DOES change things.

Now she is about to be blown out just like anyone who is capable of grasping political realities understood would happen the minute she was nominated. Worth it to get rid of the uber-RINO Castle. And as previous posters have noted, it's not a given that she will lose and it would certainly help if the pubbie establishment would pitch in to endorse and help O'Donnell. Unfortunately, a lot of career politicians have a vested interest in seeing her lose to protect their own professional credentials.

The Fairleigh Dickinson University website does not show a recent Coon, O’Donnell poll. This poll was taken on and/or released on the 6th of October.

Taken on 10/6, released 10/28!
Where do you see that?
That’s not accurate. The poll was taken Oct. 20-26 and released at noon today. The poster is in error about the date taken. Look at the release info and the last paragraph of the written snynopsis.

Worth it to get rid of the uber-RINO Castle. Yes...Chris Coons is only in his mid 40s. Instead of RHIN (Republican Halfway and In Name) Mike Castle, we can get four or more decades of an ultra leftist!
What a great victory!

Yeah, that was my error.
Again, my apologies.

They have one section that includes data from Oct. 6 and this poll to show comparison. Why they did that with only one section I don’t know.

Rove was to easy on her ? Well from your point of view thats true . The win here is , the slow wits are spending energy as rove rump swabs or trolls . Od is like the shinny dime ,it attracts the sling-blade types who miss the big play . You and your lot are about to get a public beating and a total repudiation of all you pray to , along with that we will clean the peoples house of a flotilla of below average , old second raters .
