SAN FRANCISCO - The U.S. Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit, has struck down the law requiring Arizona voters to present proof of citizenship to vote.
Prop. 200, approved by Arizona voters in 2004, was found to violate federal law - the majority opinion was that the National Voter Registration Act precludes states from imposing additional requirements.

Just in time... /s
Meanwhile, 3,000 voter registrations and early ballot requests (submitted on the deadline day) by a Democrat organization in Southern Arizona have been found to be at least 60% (and counting) fraudulent.

It’s not just the dollar that’s being devalued these days.
This amounts to devaluing U.S. citizenship.

Sounds to me it's time to turn over the courts decision.
By whatever means necessary.

So, the court has just removed the citizenship requirement to vote.
Kinda like requiring presidents to be natural born citizens, but no law can make them prove it.

Amazingly even the 9th circus thought the photo-id requirement was ok.

Can this be appealed to SCOTUS on an emergency basis?

“the majority opinion was that the National Voter Registration Act precludes states from imposing additional requirements.”
Then either the National Voter Resgistration Act or the 9th Circuit needs to be repealed. (OR BOTH)

Just because you can’t make them show proof of citizenship at the time of vote doesn’t mean the fraudulent ballots have to be accepted....correct?

and the US Constitution requires a vote of the citizens.
don't we now have a conflict between the Constitution and the court's concern about “obstacles?”

Just move up the case alongside Obamacare to SCOTUS. The 9th circus has always been the enemy.

Just my opinion, but since the voter registration deadline has past, I can’t see this ruling affecting the current cycle. And I truly hope this can be overturned before 2012 or we will be in a big heap of doo here in AZ with non-citizen voters registering in bulk. This must be stopped before 2012.
