Being snide is one thing. Being vicious is another. So, STOP IT.

I would say admitting to keeping a perfectly qualified person from a job for esoteric reasons is about as vicious as it gets. If somebody has prejudices like that and is as small minded as that, please they may do better to keep those things to his or herself. These are brutal times FRiend.

Yes. They are. I have noticed that people on FR are getting in a wad pretty quickly these days. And that’s too bad.

I’m not saying people don’t throw stuff around pall mall here and go off on tangents—which I’ve been known to do myself—and that sometimes we get pretty close to the ledge here. I just don’t want someone to take what’s said and do themselves in. That’s all.

And yes, people’s hiring practices and employment decisions are really awful sometimes. If you’re over 40, you have some tales to tell, many of them not pretty. I know I do.

My 2 cents.

If you want to control who gets the job, then you had better own the business. You have no right to judge what anyone else does with their property. You sound more like a socialist than a Freeper.
