John Stewart's 'Sanity' Rally to include Code Pink, Anarchists
Jason McNew
It is looking like John Stewart's "Restore Sanity" rally will define sanity rather peculiarly. Code Pink, Anarchists, and pro-abortion groups plan to attend at the Lincoln Memorial on October 30th.

[excerpt]
O'REILLY: Now I asked this question through one of my producers to Ms. Fonda. And I'm going to ask it to you because by reading your book, it struck me that the Vietnam experience changed you. I'm saying to myself, you know, Turner comes into the Vietnam era, conservative guy, pretty much traditional guy, it changes him.
TURNER: Yes.
O'REILLY: It changes him. And now he's a very liberal guy. So I asked Ms. Fonda, didn't it ever bother you that after all your activism and getting America out of Vietnam, which it subsequently did in the mid '70s, that 3 million human beings were slaughtered by the people that you were lionizing, the North Vietnam and the Khmer Rouge Communists who wouldn't have been slaughtered if we stayed. And their skulls were stacked on top of each other. And I never heard from you, Jane Fonda. And I never heard a word from Ted Turner about that. And that, to me, is a good question.
TURNER: You've got me. I didn't really think about it. You know, it didn't make the news very much.
O'REILLY: No, it didn't. And you had a vehicle that you could have had the revisionist history is what I'm worried about here. I think America's a noble nation. I think we've made mistakes. I think we tried to have freedom in Vietnam for the South Vietnamese. Unfortunately, the government was corrupt. I don't think that was a venal, terrible thing to do. I think we were trying to protect people there.
Thanks. I repeat post things like this for several reasons:
1) For anyone who hadn't seen it.
2) As a reminder of how low these treasonous scumbags are.
3) For liberal lurkers to see, so they don't think we're making things up. Many liberals don't believe these connections really exist.
4) To put on the record for when these threads are pulled up later via internet searches.
5) For any head-up-their-butts media to see and report (long shot, but, hey, you never know).
John Stewart’s “Restore Sanity” rally reeks of freaks. This is another lame attempt to gather as many people as beck did to bolster Obama’s wacko base.
John Stewart gets a lot of viewers, but like any other liberal, he is doubling down right now to try and hold on to his perception of a great way of doing things with the Obama, Reid and Pelosi machine.
If this lot is the best that he can come up with I would say he is scared about elections. Publicly he already said he wants to get Obama back to his base. He wants to be used by Obama to get his message across and tell everyone what wonderful things he has done for the country ..
(notice how the democrats running for re-election are not talking about all their accomplishments?)
I hope that they have a good turn out and get lots of media coverage. Once Middle America see’s what this nimrod thinks is “sanity” with Code Pink and their lot he will become about as mainstream as the Edsel.
Yep! I detest the Code Pinkos...I have been lucky enough to be able to spend some time with the DC Chapter of FR, and those folks have spent a good deal of time in close contact with them, counter-protesting. They don’t back off at all.
Good bless your friend and her son!
I am on board with all of that. There are many things on FR I would have missed if the Freeper had not posted them multiple times. I can’t cover every thread exhaustively!
LOL—somebody please go and take a camera.
I thought Jon Stewart had some kind of sanity. Guess not. This just made him a big loser and what little credibility he had left is now gone.
He may joke; but now he is a joke.
Thanks ETL, glad you reposted it.
