I have contacted my reps in DC and demanded that taxpayer funding be STOPPED for NPR. I’ve had enough of this use of MY money to support a biased media group!
Maybe we have all gotten sick of this too...and now have an event that will be used to do just that!
Tell your folks in Congress too...
She is also sorry NPR did this while most public radio stations are in the middle of their fall pledge drives.
You have to love the timing of this! LOL
You have to love the timing of this! LOL
It’s beautiful!
LMAO
And there you have it.
We finally have an NPR supporter who favored the Williams firing
lololol
Actually...skip NPR HQ’s and go to your local NPR station. Let them know that you’ve had enough of NPR’s management team at the top, and refuse to listen to their shows in general.
I did earlier today....AND I also blame George Soros for the firing of Juan Williams. I too am nervous when Muslims in their garb board my flights....often refusing to sit were they are supposed to...they like me fearful. I wonder if George Soros who is stealthily devaluing the dollar is doing so by buying up GOLD....so many ads to buy GOLD make me wonder..............
I have been wondering how the Fanatical PC Libs will spin this?
She is also sorry NPR did this while most public radio stations are in the middle of their fall pledge drives.
This is really a good example of a liberal “knee jerk” reaction.
The stupid woman fired him without considering the possible ramifications.
Firing Juan Williams is an affront to the first amendment. Mr. Williams didn't make the comment on your station. Soros' millions has entered your veins. I will be contacting the new congress to urge that they stop funding npr. People will be enraged when they wake up to this news.
I didn’t think about this. This is another piece of the whole holistic picture of liberal PC.
Even liberals are getting tired of it. I think even liberals are pining for the days when you could freely speak your mind. I sense a backlash will result and it could be felt at the polls.
However, money raised from on-air pledge drives is what supports individual stations; the NPR programming the station airs is paid for by government funding and, if I remember correctly, by private grants from major private foundations.
I worked at a very popular public radio station for years, and can tell you that the loyalty of public radio supporters is very strong. That so many are turning against NPR is profound.
Just got off the phone with my local NPR (again). Goofing on them is so much fun.
We went round and round. Finally I asked if they fired Juan Williams ‘cause he was black? LOL I think i heard someone’s head exploded.
I would love to call them and tell them that but I haven’t listened to them for at least 5 years. I do miss Benny Hill tho.
Just sent them a message thanking them for firing Juan, as it will be their loss and a boost to Juan’s career.
Amaash Gazalli (maninthemiddle) supported the action. How odd. s/
'Wait...wait...dont tell me' is pretty good too.
The NPR decision was obviously racist.
