DENVER—Colorado elections officials rolled out the first look at who's voting early this election—and so far more Republicans are voting than Democrats. The Colorado Secretary of State reports that about 195,000 voters have already cast ballots as of Wednesday afternoon. That figure includes mail-in and absentee voters who have already returned ballots, along with people who have voted in person at early balloting locations.

So far, just over 71,000 Democrats have voted, and about 81,500 Republicans have voted. About 41,000 unaffiliated voters have already cast ballots. The GOP has an advantage in the overall number of active voters, with almost 63,000 more registered Republicans than registered Democrats.

I can’t help but to get the feeling that we are being setup for a dammed massive disappointment. I hope I’m just being paranoid/wrong.....

Unfortunately, the dems have a massive edge in deceased voting.

You are paranoid and have pyschologically conditioned yourself to think that way. Hey Boucher and Griffith are tied at 44-44 in the Washington Compost yesterday.

We dropped off our 2 ballots this morning. Two more votes for Colorado conservatism: Ken Buck, the personhood ammendment & Tom Tancredo. No on all mill levies. Yes on 60, 61 and 101.

I’ve had the same thought a few times, it’s normal.

Although polls are open typically 8 am to 8 pm +/-, there is lots of voting around midnight. Probably more so if that’s a night with a full moon.

Its good news, normally Dems outpace GOP in most early voting stages.

its consistent with what we are hearing from all over the country.

I voted exactly the same this morning in La Plata County.

Nobody knows. There are signs in both directions. The generic ballot looks great, but that measure can fluctuate wildly towards the end.

My main concern is that quite a few GOP House candidates are weaker now than earlier in the year. Wahlberg, Atschuler, Hanna, Barletta and Meehan come to mind.

I tend to agree with you. The Dems have had enough warning to set up the fraud machines full throttle and they will do exactly that. Meanwhile, the Republicans do nothing to help stop the fraud - it is almost as though they WANT to lose. A friend in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula is related to McDowell (the Dem running for Bart Stupak’s seat) and, even though the Republican is leading in the polls, he quotes Bill Clinton as assuring him that the Dems will take this election - fraud is heavily in the works and it will take an overwhelming edge on the part of the Republican candidates to not only win but to overcome the recount (Otherwise known as Fraud 2) threat.

That’s good news! I noticed Boucher started with radio ads on Monday(at least on the stations I listen to), and began to wonder if there was some movement his people didn’t like. Apparently that’s the case. I have NEVER heard Boucher do a radio or TV ad, or at least I have no memory of one. He’s been our congressman since before I started Kindergarten.

If Boucher loses, it would mean political apocalypse for the dems nationally. If he only wins by single digits, it will be the tsunami all of the pollsters are predicting(he usually wins by 15-25% if he’s even opposed on the ballot). My wife and I CAN NOT wait to vote against him. It will be our means to send a message to 0bama and those in power in DC.

How do they know how a person voted are they looking how they are registered when they check their name of the log book?

Is this meant to try to scare Democrats into voting?

I have a knucklehead friend that keeps using the latest DemoRAT talking line "Party of Fear" to attack the Tea Party and Republicans. The irony is that they are the ones using fear to try to get their base motivated... but then, lying is a natural art for the Leftist.

the early voting number don’t have any meaning unless we have some early voting numbers from 2008 to compare them with.

Rs are outperforming their population numbers (if you believe those) in NV also so far.

I’ve read that by 11/2 40% of Americans will have already voted...and they’re breaking R.

GOTV!!

“the early voting number don’t have any meaning unless we have some early voting numbers from 2008 to compare them with.”

In NC R voters were barely behind this year, plus a big swack of I voters, whereas in 2008 early Ds outpaced Rs 3 to 1. Huge differential.

“Nobody knows. There are signs in both directions.”

I disagree. I think there have been tons of signs that the voters are extremely discontent with the economy for starters and the obummercare debacle secondly and just add in all the other stuff, including a 15% approvel rating for Congress.

RATs are a sinking stone that won’t float. Conservatives will need to work hard into this victory, and help save this once great nation.
