She probably did have it memorized, but when you are under pressure of a national audience, it is far better to get the message out correctly and completely. Both had notes and talking points.

The fact she didn’t have her closing statement memorized disappointed me too. But I felt better when Coons didn’t have his memorized either.

She is representative of "the people" with the foundation and principles that many of us share, not a polished elite establishment politician who speaks in 'slick' tones and 'Harvard' style BULLSHT. Isn't that what most of us want??
