Republican candidate for governor Carl Paladino rails against gay marriage and called the bumping-and-griding at gay pride parades disgusting. He also once was the landlord for two gay clubs in Buffalo.
The real estate deal, first reported Wednesday by the New York Daily News, left Democrats calling him a hypocrite. Paladino's campaign said it proved that he supports gay rights, just not gay marriage. Meanwhile, a rabbi who represents an umbrella organization of ultra-Orthodox clerics said he was dropping his endorsement of Paladino because the candidate had apologized for the harsh wording of some of his comments about gays.

Truthfully I think Paladino can win. He has signs all over (when they aren’t stolen) but Cuomo has none. What scares me is voter fraud. I believe that’s the only way Hillary won. I think they’ll try it again. We need a huge turnout to overwhelm fraud.

My DH says I should have a talk radio program... ‘Cause I can go on non-stop once riled up and all it takes is reading FR for 30 seconds to get riled up. Or just thinking for about half a second.
Debate and political alignment sets the stage for the victory.

Still another thread says that as of Monday, Harry Reid is behind Sharron Angle 55-44 -- wow, it's awful late for him to be so far behind, AFTER he spent a ton of money on attack ads. Dare we hope?
Oh, and he's dipping into the Dims' senate campaign funds for another $2.5 mill, money that they had thought they'd be able to spend in other states (Feingold in Wisc. and Babs Boxer are both endangered) because Reid had so damn much money last spring. (Slush funds! TARP money, I'll bet!!)
