The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is criticizing what it says is the dark side of Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters, claiming imagery the British rock icon used in his latest tour is anti-Semitic, FOXNews.com reported Tuesday.
Waters, a longtime vocal critic of Israel, takes aim at the Jewish nation's West Bank security fence during a segment of his 2010-2011 "The Wall Live" tour by using imagery associated with stereotypes about Jewish people and money, ADL officials say.
During Waters' recent performances of "Goodbye Blue Sky," an animated scene has projected images of planes dropping bombs in the shape of Jewish stars of David, followed by dollar signs -- an "outrageous" juxtaposition, according to Abraham Foxman, ADL's national director.
"While he insists that his intent was to criticize Israel's West Bank security fence, the use of such imagery in a concert setting seems to leave the message open to interpretation

Money, so they say, is the root of evil today.
Well, we can't have that, can we?
Jewish star bombs? Not much "interpretation" required. Typical British Jew-hater. I hope those twits enjoy Londonistan.
1Tim. 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Sounds better on Dark Side of The Moon.
I was a big rock fan in the 70’s, but I never could get into Pink Floyd. Not sure why, they seemed to be pretty popular with most of my friends. Just never did ever hear one song from them that ever did anything for me.
The Dark Side of the Moon is the eighth studio album by English progressive rock group Pink Floyd, and was released in March 1973.
he’s a creep ping

It really all boils down to Money.

The bombers also dropped cross', crescent's and corporate logos. Waters claims the dollar sign and Star of David being adjacent was coincidental.
I saw one clip earlier this week from the MS garden show, and he came out wearing a black leather stormtrooper-like overcoat. i overlooked it since the symbol on his sleeve wasn’t a swastika.
But in the context of the other imagery as the article details, the ADL appears to be spot on in its assessment.
I agree with you. As far as I’m concerned, Pink Floyd ended when Syd Barrett was forced out. Piper at the Gates of Dawn is a great album, but I couldn’t get into the others.
Waxman acknowledges that Waters is free to do it. But then he goes on to say Waters crossed a line. What does that mean? If all this amounts to is Waxman criticizing Waters, then fine. If he wants some sort of action taken against Waters, that's a different story.
FWIW, I never liked Roger Waters.
I love Pink Floyd - but Roger Waters always made me want to slit my wrists - DEPRESSING! I think the man has serious mental issues going back to his childhood, which is unfortunate - he has real talent.
I didn’t like Pink Floyd very much either with the exception of a few songs, especially “Us and Them,” which I think is absolutely beautiful and is sort of a masterpiece.
When are Abe Foxman and Jesse Jackson going to just cut the pretentions and join forces? They could save money on working their scams.
