George Soros, the billionaire financier who was an energetic Democratic donor in the last several election cycles but is sitting this one out, is not feeling optimistic about Democratic prospects.

And if Soros can crash economies he can get his puppets elected without having to waste money on campaign contributions.

Other than millions in donations since the 2008 election campaign, plus his campaign of genocide against Israel.

I think Soros tried ot pull Obama’s strings, but his puppet turned on him. Kind of like a demented Pinnochio. With Obama going after the rich, Soros is one of them and I am sure that he understands that backing Obama will get him dragged into the round of arrests that will dog Obama and his supporters. If the US currency does collapse, then I am sure that he will lose a lot of his money, something that would make him freak out.

I think Soros drove a very good deal with the Devil. On another view, he has been very intelligent about his actions. He liekly pays for the finest security, the finest team to protect him, and the finest legal team to keep him out of jail/prison.

"...sitting this one out..."

Oh, I doubt that. He'll do anything and say anything to lull us back to sleep again, but we're wide awake, sober, armed, angry, and politically active.

Georgie, your claims that we can just relax and not vote because you're not putting up a fight at this election are risible at best. Go jump in a lake; I'll provide the anvil tied to your neck.

Your welcome. I know people think Soros is evil, but he is also someone who has a sincere interest in maintaining certain facets of the status quo, one being that the rich be able to remain rich and get richer. He knows which circle he’s in and he’s one of the ‘rich’ that Obama, if allowed to run rampant, will go after. When you look at Obama running around like some demented dictator, it’s only a matter of time until he self destructs. The idea is to take yourself out of the range of his self destruction.

The ONLY reason he has the celebrities in his corner, is because he is going after, in the eyes of the entertainers, the ‘right’ targets, again, one being the rich, that is, people in business. The entertainement elite are a bunch of abused, alienated children who hate the rest of mainstream society. Obama is their dream come true for them. But he is a nightmare as a result of that understanding between Obama and the entertainers. Soros, for all his scummy dealigns, is a businessman and business is his life.

If there is a massive collapse of US currency, Soros and a lot of financiers will end up losing bigtime, to say the least about businesses and other foreign nationals who have invested large sums in the form of business in the US. Obama succeeds in his ultimate destruction of the US economy, the world falls apart in response. Obama’s antics are going to result in a lot of federal investigations and there is going to be a LOT of arrests made after the election, even after 2012. Obama MIGHT not be impeached, but he’ll be on a tight leash. The people around him will be on a tight leash, something that Soros would loath.

You’re right...so long as they don’t see themselves as targets...

They’ll feel like Pastor Martin Niemöller...First, they came for the rich industrialists, the bankers and the insurers...Then they came for the doctors...

I am not sure how much control Soro’s has...It’s always a bit confusing when the wealthy advocate for communism, until you realize that they think they will be the one’s left in power.

Impeachment...Now, that’s an idea I like the sound of...This tyrant has to go.

Soros was right about one thing...He doesn’t have the money to stop an ascendant conservative movement.

It's amazing he had to think about it.

What an evil guy. Truly a real life bond villain.

If you search around for Soros and Nazis, you’ll find a few things. Here’s one:

I think the billionaires like the theoretical idea of Communism, but not the literal implementation of Communism. Kind of like a whimsical fantasy, but not a reality you really want to live. Soros and the rest are not so stupid that they really want the US to fall to it. If it did, they are smart to see that they and their families would be among the first to be shot and their assets confiscated. I think Soros isn’t as powerful, but keeps an eye on things since he has a lot to lose if Obama keeps his idiocy going.

Impeachment won’t happen, but I am sure that he’ll be kept on a tight, tight leash, by Pubbies and the Dems. None of them want him to run amok for the last two years of his term the same way that he has for the first two. He blew it big time and now he has to be under some sort of strictures. Double the normal ones. I think he started making financiers very, very nervous when it started to get worse and Obama blamed everyone around him. Soros can’t stop the Pubbies and I don’t think he wants to. No one with half a brain does.

I think Obama looked to them like a good way to run things through, but didn’t take into consideration that Obama, being the darling of the entertainers, would run things like an entertainer would. He would go after Big Business like Soros and blame Wall Street. The minute he started doing that, Soros should have realized that Obama was indeed crazy enough to go after the rest of the financiers, of who he is one. His entire empire is based on finance. He and his cohorts were the perfect scapegoats and Obama utilized that.

I think GOP overconfidence is the only hope they have. But that is not mentality of the voters. It’s broken glass time.

A lot of people will put up with a lot of crap from bad renters next door, hoping they'll move away. But when they start cutting down your trees and shrubs and taking potshots through your windows and staggering vomiting across your driveway, most people are going to take action and not be satisfied until they have been driven away and the creeps responsible for letting them in there in the first place never have the chance to do it again.

I truly believe he is lying. I bet he is "knee deep" in this one. I think the Dems are trying to make the Republicans overconfident because it is the only chance they have.

Ditto.

Don't let up for a minute, Republicans!

I believe Mr. Soros has made a nice living from selling currencies in various countries short (after doing everything in his power to devalue them). I understand he is not a practicing Jew and survived the Holocaust by helping a friend of the family collect the property of Jews who were being herded into ghettos or to the gas chambers and isn't particularly sympathetic to their plight and has no remorse for making gains from other misfortunes.

In this particular instance, I believe Mr. Soros will contribute to those campaigns that have a chance of succeeding, but realizes that those campaigns may not be as numerous as they were previously. Additionally, Americans are still feisty enough to realize when they've been sold a pig in a poke (our children and their children have been so poorly educated, they may not be as lucky), but we still had enough smarts to figure it out.

Mr. Soros may not live to see another “Hurrah,” but I'm certain he will have someone even more determined to control the world than he. It is for our children to be watchful. It is for us to make certain they recognize what mankind is capable of and what evil lurks in the hearts of men.

This is a pragmatic decision on his part. He's not going to throw good money after bad. I wouldn't.
