Former Vice President Dick Cheney addressed his health and offered another defense of Bush administration "necessary" but "controversial" anti-terrorism policies Saturday...at the Bakersfield Business Conference where he was "interviewed" by his wife, Lynne.

Only defense Cheney need give is “Obama has adopted and continued almost all of our anti-terror policies. So shut the (Cheney’s favorite swear word) up.”
“Bush and Cheney should stay out of the limelight till November, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are doing a great job of motivating the American people to vote them out of power.”
I agree, and no disrespect at all to the former President and Vice-President.

His picture is on Drudge this morning. I hope it was from a bad angle, he looks verrrry thin and frail. I hope he is well, he’s always been a favorite of mine. God Bless him and his family.

Bush IS out of the limelight.
Cheney has never stopped reminding people of the necessary WOT, and I hope he never stops reminding us.
Otherwise he has avoided political topics.
Sadly, the picture reveals what congestive heart failure does to someone.
The man is only alive now because a machine is doing substitute work for his heart.

That’s how I felt when Dubya and Laura left. But we were left even more alone with the circus we were left with.
Obama and Michelle. How low could we go? I hope that’s it.
I hope Cheney can hang in for a few more years.
Cheney has offspring who will serve us well. His wife is a jewel also. And Liz Cheney is a pistol. I see a political future for her.
He's been 'hanging in there' a whole lot longer than most people thought he could. I'll bet he makes it a few more years.
(Remember the criticism of Bush's choice of Cheney? That he was too sick and wouldn't last four years? That was more than 10 years ago. :)

There was a lot that I disagreed with GW about, but I know he loves this country, and has it’s best interests at heart.
No so with the current admin...in spades.
