Former Vice President Dick Cheney addressed his health and offered another defense of Bush administration "necessary" but "controversial" anti-terrorism policies Saturday...at the Bakersfield Business Conference where he was "interviewed" by his wife, Lynne.

Give’em hell, Dick!
Having him back is a nice October surprise!
Interviewed in quotes because it wasn't a REAl hard-hitting interview, like the ones the MSM give to Obama.
Here are some interviews, as opposed to "interviews,:

Charlie Gibson on GMA, during the campaign:
How does it feel to break a glass ceiling? How does it feel to win? How does your family feel about your winning breaking a glass ceiling? Who will be your VP? Should you choose Hillary Clinton as VP? Will you accept public finance? What issues is your campaign about? Will you visit Iraq? Will you debate McCain at a town hall? What did you think of your competitors [Clinton] speech?
(Same source as above.)
First, do you still like this job?
LeBron James is with us tomorrow night. We pre-interviewed him. And he says, all things being equal, he's probably leaning toward Cleveland. That's where he grew up, in Akron. But he grew up a Bull fan. You want him to go to Chicago, right? What did you say? Clear it up.
I saw you singing to 'Michelle' last night with Paul McCartney. That was a pretty nice kick, huh?

Interviewed was in quotes but I think everyone understood it wasn’t a journalistic interview. This was friendly territory (Bakersfield Business Conference) and somewhat of a joint appearance by the two of them to best facilitate what he wanted to communicate.
Bush and Cheney should stay out of the limelight till November, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are doing a great job of motivating the American people to vote them out of power.
I understand that. But it was an interview, i.e. “A conversation...in which facts or statements are elicited from another.” Reporters think they have control of the language of journalism.
Yep, they are living in the pre-blog past, and even if they wake up, it’s far too late for it to do them any good.
:)
Bush IS out of limelight.
Cheney has never ceased making his points about the WOT and I hope he doesn’t.
He has avoided other topics.
Bump dat!
Frankly, I like the contrast that Bush and Cheney make wrt the current administration.
It’s just so.................delicious.
He’s like my Dad but a little more tame. I do believe that he should come out right now, provided his health allows, and make these final weeks a real victory and vindication.
You mean good vs. the most vile, evil, crappy, incompetent bunch of idiots EVER, I mean EVER!!? Yeah, I see the contrast. :P
You were a little more subtle than that, though. lol
But, hey...I like your style. ;o)
Bush Administration WOT ping...
Bump
Of course, we wouldn’t want to have a compare and contrast visual as a reminder.

Hey, where’s the complaint?
Dick Cheney is in bed with his interviewer, his wife Lynne.
The Democrats are “in-bed” with their interviewers, the MSM “presstitutes”.
????
/sarc (or maybe was never on)
And the worst of it is, the presstitutes still try to PRETEND that they’re doing a “journalistic” interview, when in fact - when it comes to Obama - they’re doing no such thing.
