O'Donnell: 'God's Keeping Me in the Race'
CBN ^ | Thursday, September 30, 2010 | Jennifer Wishon

Posted on 09/30/2010 8:30:57 AM PDT by GonzoII

In an exclusive interview with CBN News, Delaware Republican Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell said God is keeping her in the race.

She made the statement before she stopped doing interviews at the advice of Tea Party power broker Sarah Palin.

One month ago, O'Donnell was a struggling Senate candidate. She had barely raised $250,000 in her primary run against established Republican Mike Castle.

Now she's a household name, Delaware's Republican Senate nominee, and the new darling of America's Tea Party movement.

"We have got to fight. We have got to fight to defend our liberty -- to defend our freedoms regardless of the personal cost," O'Donnell said. "That's how we're going to get our country back on track."

I wonder if Krybaby Karl has something to say about this.

When O’Donnell wins she’ll let you shine her shoes if you’re lucky, Rove-boy.

You know, the US has become so secular, that phrases such as “God is keeping me in the race,” sound unusual to a lot of people.

Well, God doesn’t make mistakes.

I sure would vote for this woman.

The liberals have thrown every ting they have at this woman and she is still standing. If we can elect her it will encourage other good candidates to enter races. I’m going over to her site and donate again!!!

I have often observed that God likes to surprise mankind..He also seems to choose the “little people” for big things just to confound the proud, I suppose, and to show them who is boss.

God in politics is the truest form of minority representation.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

What she said was, we kept going on because “God was not releasing us to quit.” Similar meaning but stated more softly than what was reported.

O'Donnell: 'God's Keeping Me in the Race'

Conversely, if it's God's Will that she lose this race, will we all say God was on "Krybaby Karl's" side?

Co-opting God on this stuff cuts both ways, dear.

I know, I know.

I thought it was wonderful that she said it.

The other guy is probably a druid.

freedomwarrior998: What will you do if she doesn’t win?

Hold the RINO clown posse here, and in the National GOP Establishment, accountable for doing everything they could to sabotage her race

O’Donnell needs less reliance on divine intervention and more reliance on good old fashioned retail politics. Where is her ground game in Delaware?

What she said is good.

What other people turn it into, essentially a “See! Karl rove opposes God’s will!” is not good.

Oh, quite so.

God’s thoughts are not our thoughts...His ways are not our ways.

We will never be able to figure out God. We have two choices: We can believe in Him or not.

Thanks for your note!
