Well - if the Pakis would do their part of the job, NATO would feel the need to blast the terrorists who are harbored up by those tribal thugs near the border.
NATO did something?
Man, that is a new tactic...
Am under the impression things are picking up fast now Petreus took over. Lots of activity picking up in Aphganistan...Karzi concerned so many firefights now. Loss of life etc. The border will get hotter before it calms.
The Berlin airlift should stand as a model of how to deal with issues as these. Sure it is more expensive, but so are the cruisers and smart bombs that will be headed to the tribal regions as well, en masse.
Tell Islamabad to shove it sideways and then let the games begin. There is only one way to end this thing and that is to have them begging us to stop and to bring the citizens left into the real world while washing our feet as we march through Waziristan.
So which NATO country provided the helicopter and flight crew?
Obviously, they must have attended the wrong briefing prior to their mission. Or maybe the Pakistani’s thought it would be fun to send a few rounds their way. Oops... Nato - Seize the port and road, it’s always a bad idea to let someone else control your supply line, Ask Rommel how well the Italians took care of his.
“Islamabad”
No, Islam IS bad.
I have often thought that the much hyped drone attacks are just so much ineffective theater. Sure, you get some bad guys, but its just one pinprick after another. To win a war you need to break the enemy’s will. That requires troops on the group and/or saturation bombing. Not sure we have the stomach for either.
That reminds me of an oldie but a goodie - I hope you enjoy!!

We do know that Barkey Obozo doesn’t.
Now how the heck did I miss that?
THANKS. It’s Great, especially for those of who grew up with AM radio!
On another humorous note, try cowswithguns.com - the ballad Moo Tse Tung comes to mind.
