Is Obama launching a new fall attack on Fox News?

Last year at this time, President Obama and his top White House advisers were about to launch a disastrous campaign against Fox News.

I say disastrous because the acting communications director, Anita Dunn, who sounded the call to arms on Howard Kurtz's "Reliable Sources" show would resign within weeks, and the president and his innermost circle after going on every major non-Fox news show to attack the highest-rated cable news channel as "not really being a news channel," were in full retreat.

Better than that, if one were to inspect the blanks he is shooting, there is no wax plug to hold in whatever powder there once was and the primer already has a ding in it.

I glad you’re all confident that Fox will survive a WH assault. However, I have seen Fox retreat mightily in their coverage. Chris Wallace has gone almost David Gregory, and of course we always have Geraldo, the Fox & Friends crew, and many segments of Fox news which is far from conservative. Fox has self-censored itself.

I guess the White House has its TV”s turned off when Fox News has Juan Williams, Kirsten Powers, Bob Beckel, Alan(I Have the Looks For Radio)Colmes and affirmative-action-PhD Marc Lamont Hill on its shows.
