PHOENIX, AZ (KOLD) - New video has surfaced from last week's SB-1070 protest that brought people to Phoenix from across the country, including immigrant-rights activists bused in from California.
The video shows those activists desecrating the American flag. They used spray paint to write, "deport Arpaio" and "impeach Brewer."
There's also a toilet seat on the stars. They displayed the desecrated U.S. Flag and Arizona flag while a man sang the national anthem.
Disgusting!
This photo was taken at a rally at the state capitol yesterday. The news will not show it and the Capitol Police and Homeland Security would not let Americans or any of the Veterans that were there do anything about it.
My husband and his friends were threatened to be arrested and were told they would be booked under federal charges if they did anything. I am sending this to you so that you in turn can start emailing it to every one on your list. It is totally uncalled for and people need to see it.
This is not about politics and rhetoric, it is about a direct threat to our country. Those of you that don't live in Arizona will maybe get a chance to see the other side of what the news is telling you. If this offends you great, than I have truly accomplished what I set out to do.
I understand that sometimes we don't see eye to eye on certain things, but that is the right our forefathers fought for. I am an American before I am anything else. For those of you who choose to dismiss this. If you believe that this is okay I believe you are a traitor to this country and everything it stands for.
I am not a racist and I am not a Nazi; this has nothing to do with race, it has to do with respect to the country that is continually taking you in and turning a blind eye to your agenda.
Homeland Security was designed to identify and defend America from Terrorist acts yet yesterday it let illegal and legal citizens of this country desecrate the Flag. People were spitting on it, stomping on it and burning it with cigarettes. One soldier who had just returned from Iraq tried to grab the flag and was thrown to the ground by the Capitol Police and Homeland Security.
It amazes me how many people will stand against the American People while all the while prospering from our system and our government.
To those of you that will forward this to your friends I applaud you for the courage to stand up for the country in which you live.
To those of you who delete this, there is always someplace else for you to go.

Regardless of you political beliefs, we are all Americans first and should respect our country's flag, what it stands for, and the lives of our servicemen to defend our nation. This is just not right!!!

Don't be fooled by emotion and rhetoric. Law enforcement at all levels is on the side of law and order. Neither of which would be served by letting the two sides go at each other in a physical confrontation.
Like it or not, they have the right to desecrate the flag. See Texas v. Johnson, 491 U.S. 397 (1989), and U.S. v. Eichman, 496 U.S. 310 (1990). Law enforcement can't stop people from doing what's legal, and they certainly aren't going to let a brawl develop by letting others attempt to stop it either.
Were the protesters charged 180k for the security, like the baptist minister.

Expose the Homeland Security personnel allowing our flag to be desecrated. Exposure is the only thing these anti-American political hacks fear. My husband’s male co-worker went to the men’s room and lit up a cigarette. He was reported and severely threatened with action if he did it again. His comment? “I could set fire to the flag on the city hall steps and nothing would happen, but I can’t light a cigarette in the men’s room.” That was many years ago.
TODAY: A preacher threatened, but didn’t set fire to a koran. The muzzzies are now at the U.N. demanding a world-wide ban on harming the koran. And they’ve gained the power to do just that. No one has said anything about burning the Bible.

On April 7, 2009, their hatred of Americans spewed full force as DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis sent out a nationwide alert to US L/E to act against "evil" conservatives. DHS identified “rightwing extremists” as a "danger" and defined “rightwing extremists” in a footnote, as follows.
OBAMA/INCOMPETANO ORDER L/E TO SUPPRESS AND DESTROY AMERICANS.
EXCERPT DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis to L/E: "Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."
DHS later said that the report was not an attempt to squash First Amendment Rights for conservatives----only "hate groups"---- but, there was NO attempt to exempt anyone from these broad generalizations. Obama/Incompetano's report paints EVERY ASPECT OF AMERICAN CONSERVATISM as "suspect."
This is indicative of a very disturbing government mindset. Obama/Incompetano's documented hatred of Americans, and their orders to L/E to surveil and supress Americans......contrasts sharply with their kid glove handling of drug lords, savages, and terrorists bent on violence and destruction.

Just burn a La Raza symbol to counter and really see what side homeland security/Federal Government is really on.
If the flag was a public display/or stolen by a private entity, prosecute the individuals harshly.

Pardon me, but they didn't allow anything. These folks have the perfect right to do anything they want to our flag. Burn it, stomp on it, take a dump on it, it is their legal right.
Do I agree with this? Absolutely not! Would I seethe with rage if I witnessed this? You betcha. Would I scream and yell at the perps? Of course.
