A guy gets punched in a church for videoing a public speech. Post this everywhere you can to show the Stalinistic Tactics of the left.
The candidate is a doctor and doesn't even make a peep about someone being punched in front of him.

If it was a church sponsored event I believe the church has the right to ask for the end of live recording.
If the event was in a public space, then tape away.
We live in a nascent fascist state. We win and get tough or we have lost our birthright and our freedoms. This is it.

The church has no right when it is a public event and a campaign speech. Free Speech doesn’t stop at the church doors.

I don’t think that the First Amendment gives one the right to film someone who does not wish to be filmed.
On the other hand, if those in charge of the event did not want the visitor to film, they should have called the police. You cannot assault someone like that — even a trespasser.
They should have asked him to leave, and if he didn’t leave, then called the police to remove him as a trespasser.
Either way, it doesn’t look good for a candidate to be holding secret meetings.
If it was 2 whites smacking a black with a camera it would be on the news tonight.
I am going to send that video everywhere I can. This is Obama’s America !

Praying is not the task at hand but fighting with our hands, hearts&mindS, and “other implements of persuasion”.
Sorry, but the church is private property. And yes, even when they provide an opportunity for a public meeting, the church can set the conditions. Property owners have rights even if they are liberals.
They do not have the right to assault any person.
I am doing the same. This is obviously a hate crime.
What kind church would allow this from their pulpit? What kind of church would allow violence over taping?

This, however, is a case of assault and battery, which wasn't justified under Oregon law.
This man should file suit, just like the lesbian who sued a conservative group years ago in Oregon and won.
With God on your side you can’t lose.
With God against you can’t win.
God is in control.
Now if you don’t believe in God you’ll have to muddle along until you do.
