INCOLN, Del. Republican Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell is making light of comments she made more than a decade ago when she was in high school about having dabbled in witchcraft.
"How many of you didn't hang out with questionable folks in high school?" she asked fellow Republicans at a GOP picnic in southern Delaware on Sunday.
"There's been no witchcraft since. If there was, Karl Rove would be a supporter now," O'Donnell jokingly assured the crowd.

Now the Democratic attack squad is studying her grade school record, looking for dirt. If they find a picture of O’Donnell in a diaper crying, they’ll say it proves that she was a whiner.
Karl Rove, just like “John” at Powerline Blog fell for the Bill Maher BS line on O’Donnell, hook, line and sinker. Falling for a moron like Maher, does not say too much about the smarts of either Rove or “John”!!! So much for the Maher “bombshell”!!!
She wasn't doing witchcraft or was in high school in 1999. She talked to Bill Maher and told him she used to do it, which everyone means she did it back in high school (in the 80s).
Thanks.
Get real. You think voters are going to care about this, when this country is going down the crapper?
I was a kid at the time, but I will never forget that debate (I watched because my family has always been fairly active in politics).
Because you demand it, wow, such power you wield. Get over yourself, she doesn't have to take your advice or anyone else's, she will either win or lose, but if she keeps her honor, then it doesn't matter all that much, because Castle was a sellout no different than Murcowoskie.(sic)
No. Proof positive that you are her.
Fess up.
Yes it was a smear by Maher because he quoted her out of context, and the context was she did this stupid stuff in high school and later rejected it for Christianity. There is nothing stupid about telling a story of redemption, nothing at all.....it only becomes a problem when quoted out of context and used as a smear....in this case by that vile little man, Maher.
I'll buy a vowel Pat, Conservatism, for a $10 donation.
Heh! Naaa.
My hair’s longer.
(I wonder if she’s into long haired guys....)
>>if she were in high school in 1999, that would place her at about 30 years old, not old enough to qualify for a Senatorial seat.<<
She made the comments 10 years ago. She was talking about when she was in high school.
That was 1971 and I never knew what happened. Now I do...lol

attagirl....
I prefer honest folk in office. She is not hiding some deep dark secret. More power to her.
Unlike women on the left, she did not become a witch.
Take a long hard look at those leftist females. There is an evil emptiness behind their eyes.
She was founder and president of an organization called S.A.L.T., (Savior’s Alliance for Lifting the Truth). From what I’ve read, it was a teen outreach group that promoted sexual abstinence outside marriage. She probably went on Maher’s show thinking it would be good publicity for the group, while Maher obviously had her on for the sole purpose of mocking her and ridiculing the whole notion behind the group.
she is just suppose to spend all her time, denying these ridiculous things? Because that is exactly why they are doing this, they want this to be about her, when in fact it is about the democrats and the economy.
I concur.
This probably would be a mute point, if it weren’t for the massive attempt to cover it up and accuse and attack anybody who considers it.
The real threat probably isn’t her, but any soul who so flippantly attacks anybody else for considering it.
They are of the same ilk as those who placed Obama into office and will never defend the Constitution, nor persevere by their conscience.
