No 2008 retreads. Mike Pence, Mitch Daniels, and Haley Barbour would get my vote before Palin.

She didn’t run for president in 2008 like Myth Romney and Gomer Huckleberry, she was chosen as the VP nominee by the 2008 presidential nominee, so she’s not a “retread” as you put it, so you can get behind her, based on your statement. Messrs. Pence, Daniels and Barbour aren’t in the running and aren’t likely to be.
Word of advice. You folks who want someone other than Sarah as the nominee need to put your heads together now and decide to back one guy, if you want to have any chance of being competitive in the primaries.
If it’s a shoot-out between Sarah and one other candidate with significant support, you might have a shot. If it’s Sarah vs. five candidates who all have a little support, then it’s already over.
Ronald Reagan was a "retread". And besides, Sarah wasn't on the top of the ticket. McCain is the real "retread" here.
So are most of the other likely contenders for 2012.

+1 - We do not need a 2008 retread running in 2012. I'll vote for her, without question...But I am as certain as I was that McCain would lose in 08..that she will not win in 2012 (nor would Huck - Romeny would only have slightly a better shot becaues he could sell his economics to the Indy's some).
A sitting Governor is the way to go. Daniels or Barbour.

He doesn’t have the gonads to get out there and rally the people about it.. The moratorium is KILLING so many jobs in MS and so many people are affected.....WHERE has he been???? Anyone??
Also watch out for Thune. He is about to become more visible. But Mitch, who’s won over Indiana, is the sleeper-to-beat. Thune looks the part; Mitch is the part.
