LONDON — Five men were arrested Friday in connection with a suspected terrorist plot targeting the pope, according to reports

Something tells me this Pope will not die a ‘natural death’.

When this Pope was installed into office or whatever they call it, I remember hearing somebody at the vatican say that according to Vatican prophesy, this was the next to the LAST Pope. So if this guy gets capped, the next Pope will hearld the end of the world and the Second Coming of Christ? Is that it? I'm not Catholic, so I'm a little fuzzy on anything dealing with Catholic eschatology.

There is an alleged medieval "prophecy" floating around identified as having come from a certain "St. Malachy" that could be interpreted as you say. The Church doesn't pay it much attention. Neither do I.

I have no doubt that folks in certain quarters wouldn't mind assassinating this particular Pope. Copies of the (un)holy quran are to be found in some of those quarters as well.

“Malachy” may be a spelling variant of the word “malarkey.” I don’t know this for a fact, but you could google it. :oP

Okay, I stand corrected! As I said, I'm not Catholic. I just heard it from the lips of the MSM somewhere on that day he was chosen by the Vatican crew and then they sent the smoke signal thinghie up... You know what I mean.
