Vice President Biden accused former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Wednesday of peddling “garbage” by amplifying a Forbes story that disparages President Obama.
Biden said the article – which Gingrich used to suggest that Obama has a “Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior” – amounts to “science fiction” and that it inaccurately suggests Obama’s “drunkard” father has been “reincarnated” in the White House.
“And guys like Newt Gingrich repeating that garbage?” Biden said on Rachel Maddow’s show on MSNBC. “I mean, this is kind of – what’s happened on the Republican side. … When you can’t compete in ideas, what you do is the same playbook out of the conservative playbook. You try to delegitimize the other guy. That’s what’s going on ... the attempt to delegitimize one of the most talented men to enter American politics in three generations.”
Biden compared that effort with the attempt by critics of President Bill Clinton to accuse him of being associated with drug dealers in Arkansas and involved in a murder.
“I’ve known Newt Gingrich for years,” Biden said. “I am stunned. I really am. I am stunned he bought into this playbook. I mean, there is such – seems like such a desperation on the Republican side to pander to the lowest common denominator.”
I’m glad Biden is publicisizing this article. The whole country ought to debate it. It makes a lot of sense to me.
I guess it would be like trying to show a President as still a drug crazy drunken college frat boy, or as an Air National Guard Fighter Pilot who did everything he could not to fly...(like that happens with jet jockey’s).
If THAT'S the case, why doesn't Biden sue Forbes????.... I mean if the article is SUCH fiction-Biden would have an excellent opportunity of winning in court????

I think people over-state Obama’s Kenyan influences. Marxist, muslim, gay, goofball, sure, but he hardly knew his father. The marxist muslim gay goofiness all came from the other sides of his upbringing.
In any case, he’s a puppet president. His personal opinions don’t matter much, he’s a figurehead. Has he done a day’s work since he has been in the White House? No? No. Did he write any of his legislation? Read it? Have any of his speeches defending it given any indication he even knew any of the details of what was in it? No? No. Like I say, he is a cardboard cutout president. His handlers will dump him when the time comes and replace him with someone else.

First; I'm glad the Republicans are finally taking the gloves off and competing on the same playing field. The use of "RACIST" by Dem's is not what you do, Joe Plugs? ROFL
