Nah. The Democrats weren't going to put any money into the race before. They thought it was a lost cause fighting against Castle. Once O'Donnell starts coming up in the polls, the Dems will start throwing piles of money into this race to try to fight her off in a race they now think they have in the bag.
Washing their hands of her was a knee-jerk reaction.
It is finally sinking in on the GOP elite that they are not only NOT in control of the Tea Party movement, but that they are actually at risk. Bottom line: they are terrorfied and don’t know what to do to retain their power.
Rove and other GOP insiders never understood the Tea Party or its implications—that’s obvious now. They really thought this would be some little movement that would help elect some Republicans, and then fade away (much as the 1994 conservative uprising did). Instead of going away, it is growing to the point that it threatens to take over the GOP.
There hasn’t been anything like this since the days when the Democrat and Whig parties were the two primary parties, and the Republican party seemed to come out of nowhere. I’m not saying that will happen again, but this is definitly not politics as usual, and it has the people that benefit from the current system scared to death.

“She had a small war chest going into the primary and smashed the RINO. The Ruling Class threw everything they had at her and she still won...BIG TIME.”
I didn’t mean to say she is going to need millions. I meant she is going to get millions.
It was pouring at around $90,000 by the time his show started, and it's now almost $350,000. The pouring became a gushing when Rush mentioned it. He didn't start it, but he damned sure turned it up about ten notches.
But today I went to Jim DeMint's site and made a donation (high three figures) split between Angle, Rossi and O'Donnell.
Now that the voters have spoken, I say go get'im, Christine.
An easy way to donate to all of the conservatives one DeMints site.

I saw her on Stephanopolous’ show this morning. She was very impressive and answered these allegations. I think she can win.

It just worked for me and I donated.
You can also donate here on DeMint’s site.

Just gave her the $$$ I was gonna give to the RNC.
I never buy stock in politicians so I am okay.
Probably very good advice, but in reading all the posts in this thread, an idea occured to me.
Let's face it....Delaware is a decidedly dem/lib/prog/pop state. It has been so for years and years. And remember: tho I think she's fit for the US Senate from any state in this Union, she must win in Delaware. How to do this....hmmmmmm???
Remember the liberal from Mass. who won Teddy's seat in the Senate....and how much he sounded like a conservative (ok....maybe just at least a little conservative - but what can one expect from MA??), how proud we all were that he wore the little American Flag on his lapel...how cute the wife and kids were....and how amazing it was that a guy from MA won a senate seat with a big fat "R" after his name!! Remember??
Then, once in the Senate, we found out....much to our chagrin, that what we really had here was a very very liberal rino.
Oh the humanity!!
But it occured to me that Ms. O'Donnell has the same shot at this as did the lib from MA. That is to say....let her give the people what they want...."wine and dine" the dems. Win at all - legal - costs. Let the dem/lib/prog/pop voters in Delaware hear what they want to hear from her.
Then....once in the Senate....she can proudly and constantly support her true identity...that of a smart, hell-bent-for-leather conservative Republican!
Turn about is indeed fair play!
Just sayin'.....
There giving her nothing 42,000 but no ad buys from them...who cares we will fund it...

That’s my new plan donate small donations around the country on politicians I support and tell the RNC to go fly a kite.
Like cleaning out her new Washington D.C. office every night plus a lifetime pass to the ever-exciting Senate Softball League games.
