Calling a second time - no answer either time.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM - what do you suppose theyre in a meeting about? Why do you suppose theyre not answering the phone?
Just got through on my second call after letting it ring about 20 times and talked with some receptionist/staffer who told me were not allowed to give out information about strategy - when I mentioned the Mike Castle was still listed on their website he said thats because the election was yesterday. When I asked if they would still support Mike Castle (I was in his face) - he said, well, he lost the election, and he wont be running as a Republican.
You should have heard his tail between his legs puppy dog approach with me, as he took my statement. I went on and on about how Christine ODonnell is the Republican nominee from the good state of Deleware, and you cant tell me that youre going to support her?
At one point I said to him, Are you taking notes? and he dutifully said, yes.
Call, Call, Call!!

The rinos have the same problem with middle-class Palin. They can’t stand it that O’Donnell, a middle class, reasonably attractive, young female isn’t off getting her nails done someplace.
Instead they find an articulate, intelligent, friendly, real human being who is also an attractive, young female.
I hate to use the “sexism” accusation, so I’m going to call it “condescension” toward the middleclass, non-establishment class....something....
Rinos believe that our government REALLY IS their country club.

NRSC is the Enemy within. They oppose conservatism. The EXACT reason I left the republican party!!! I got sick of their liberal ways. So, I guess I am a CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVE independent these days. I no longer give to the PARTY. I only give to conservative individual campaigns.

U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), released the following statement regarding the Delaware Senate race:
“Let there be no mistake: The National Republican Senatorial Committee – and I personally as the committee’s chairman – strongly stand by all of our Republican nominees, including Christine O’Donnell in Delaware.
“I reached out to Christine this morning, and as I have conveyed to all of our nominees, I offered her my personal congratulations and let her know that she has our support. This support includes a check for $42,000 – the maximum allowable donation that we have provided to all of our nominees – which the NRSC will send to her campaign today.
“We remain committed to holding Democrat nominee New Castle County Executive Chris Coons accountable this November, as we inform voters about his record of driving his county to the brink of bankruptcy and supporting his party’s reckless spending policies in Washington.
“In the weeks ahead, we will decide where to best allocate additional financial resources among the large number of competitive races at stake this November. While it’s not in Republicans’ interest to advertise our spending strategy to our opponents, it’s worth noting that just yesterday, the NRSC’s first independent expenditure ad aired in support of Dr. Rand Paul’s campaign in Kentucky, where we firmly believe that he will win in November.
“It remains to be seen whether national Democrats will provide a similar level of support for many of their nominees, including in key battleground states like Indiana, Ohio, Florida, Arkansas, Illinois, and New Hampshire, among others. The Democrats’ indecision reflects the fact that Republicans are on offense in at least 12 Democrat-held states and we are leading in the polls in seven of those 12 states.
“Finally, on the matter of the New Hampshire Senate race, while the results remain outstanding, we continue to monitor the Republican primary race, and we stand ready to fully support whichever candidate is chosen as the nominee.”

Cornyn did not say it, he said they would have to “pow wow” if Odonnel won. (and chuckled)
This was an elevator ambush interview.
don’t get me wrong Cornyn is still a failure. You have to leave him an out in order for us to win the money race.

Too late for me. This was the last straw. I’ve already resigned from the GOP in protest. And they’re not going to get me back.

A search of Google News on Monday using the search term "Christine O'Donnell" returned a paid advertisement by the NRSC at the top of the search field soliciting donations. A click through on the ad's link went to the NRSC's donation page. This indicates that the NRSC purchased "Christine O'Donnell" from Google. This should be reported to the Google Adwords team.

This whole episode that started last night with Rove, and Cornyn was a fluke. They accidentally exposed themselves as the stealth Leftist RINO’s they actually are.
I hope everybody realizes NOW who holds the reins of leadership at the GOP. The radical Leftists hijacked the Democrat Party years ago, and have been infiltrating the GOP for as many years. Today they pretty much own the GOP leadership/management.
Perhaps Conservatives will be able to stop the Stealth Leftist RINO’s from completing their mission now that they are exposed.

No, I guess I didn’t listen as closely as I thought I had. Apparently, unnamed sources in the committee or something. So now they are going to fund her. It must have been a PR disaster.

From the observations I’ve made since my senator Johnboy Cornyn hit DC is that he obviously got into the Potomac Koolaid. His voting record initially was commendable but has since steadily deteriorated. DC is a vermin infested sewer that infects even some of our best if they’re there long enough. Damn shame! I’m hopeful the awakening of the apathetic sleeping giant that is MOST of Americans will stiffen some backbones. Not making excuses for Johnboy but DC is more a reflection of Americans’ lack of vigilance than most of us would care to admit. Maybe we shouldn’t be too quick to judge those that are just a bit slow on the uptake. That said, Johnboy, has one foot on the platform, one in the train and a finger in the wind. Applying an old maxim: He needs to $H!T of get off the pot!

The initial report that COD would not be supported by the NRSC was put out by CNN even before COD was declared, but also when it was obvious that it was going in her direction. That Fox picked this up and also ran with it, gave it the story a stamp of truth, to many on this forum even though it was a tactic and unlikely truth. It appears from many of the responses here, to have worked.
It is no surprise to me that they did so, in order to try and drive a wedge between the establishment GOP and conservatives, and the tea party movement. The two former are often at odds during primaries, but come together for the general.
The tea parties, on the other hand seem to have a hand-in-glove relationship with the conservative wing, but are willing to forgo winning an election with a less than desirable candidate in order to prove its bona fides, altogether an admirable position when there is not too much at stake.
That is not the case here.
2010 is a must win year for more reasons than can be listed here, the fate of our republic is at stake! A few small compromises at this stage are more important than long term tactics.
Battles are won with maneuvers, but wars are won with tactics, and at this point we are on the battlefield fighting for our country's existence.
