The normally rational and analytical Mr. Rove had vanished. In his place was someone who looked like Karl Rove, sounded like Karl Rove…but spoke like the last guy out of the hoped-for-victory-party of the landslide losing candidate for Register of Deeds in NoPlaceville, Texas.
What on earth was Rove thinking? He was bitter, angry, cutting, demeaning, mean-spirited…and those were the nice things he had to say about O'Donnell.

One line of attack that the democrats have been using about the tea party is that it’s somehow “inauthentic” it’s actually funded by some rich guy, or it’s really only just the Republicans in disguise who are made at Obama for racist reasons, or something like that.
Every RINO scalp that the tea party takes proves to Independents, moderates, even liberals and the average Democrat on the streets that the tea party is not a part of the Republican party but is fighting against the RINOs for a Republican party of Limited Constitutional Government.
I saw Dana Perino (sp?) on FoxNews late yesterday and she seemed shocked at this “upset”. The Republican Establishment has been rocked but hopefully they’ll get with the program. I saw a very biased (surprised?) segment on CNN (it was around 3:30AM and their’s was the “latest” info on the elections) with Dems/Progressives only on the panel (with David Gergen prominent among them) talking about how this hurts the Republicans and gives hope to the Dems. If that’s “hope” than bring it on!
I never like Rove. My recollection of both campaigns was “rope a dope” Where he let the Dems hit Bush and held on to win.
GOP: The Good Old Pals club. It prefers long-in-the-tooth, dried-up male RINO’s to young conservative women.

If Castle had won we would STILL be one shy. Castle is a RINO and could NEVER be counted on to come through in the clutch. With O’Donnell we at least have a shot, and the way the tide seems to be running, it appears to be a very GOOD shot!
I LOVE that the Tea Party is knocking off RINOS, BUT if a RINO wins the primary, we have to support them.....and it SHOULD BE VICE VERSA, DICK ARMEY and KARL ROVE!!!!
Agreed. It must be very frustrating for the GOP to realize they can no longer make decisions in the smoke filled rooms. My tagline says it all.

Yep. Believe it ot not, but HE basically hand picked all IL GOP candidates while he was in the WH with Dubya. It turned out that Kove and a mucky-muck in the IL GOP ruling class were ... BEST FRIENDS.
Said person wasn't even a RINO he was a closeted RAT and worked WITH BLAGO but that didn't bother Rove, no sirree. So every 'R' that has the tiniest of conservative streak was weeded out. They'd rather a RAT win.
This person was so close to Rove that Karl made him Treasurer of the 2004 GOP Convention (nice gig if you can get it). This person was also knee deep with Tony Rezko and again BLAGO, and will prolly wind up in PRISON.

Wrong. Please do not speak for everybody. You are choosing to believe the RINO power brokers who SAY she has problems. She has answered them adequately ALREADY. You and the other rinos are choosing not to hear her. They are desperately trying to protect their power base and proved last night they will do and say anything to accomplish that goal. They are for themselves and not the country they say they love. It is despicable and you have succumb to their lies. It is never right to vote party over principal. That is exactly what got us into this spiraling decline. Learn something from it. In any case their corrupt weepublican party may have just done her a favor: she will not have been groped by their dirty hands.
