It’s a big win, but let’s be honest. If 2 of Angle, O’Donnell, or Miller lose, the TP’s stock will drop like a rock, Romney will win the nomination and lose to 0bama.

We were looking at eight to nine seats in the Senate. We’re now looking at seven to eight.

So according to this logic we were not going to be in the majority in either case. The difference between 49 and 47 is practically NIL. The difference between RINOs that are scared of being primaried and RINOs that feel free to side with Obama on judicial filibusters is monumental. Putting terror into the hearts of the RINOs was a fair trade for a seat that wouldn't matter and a candidate that only voted with the conservatives 47% of the time.

Mike Castle wasn’t the only loser tonight. You can add Carl Rove and Dana Perino to the loser category.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rove on the lib morning shows trashing O’Donnell tomorrow. I used to respect this man and can’t believe I’ve been so duped. My eyes have been opened big time tonight.

I don’t want people to have a knee jerk reaction and abandon the Grand Old Party - I WANT TO TAKE THE GOP BACK FROM THESE B@ST@RDS!!!

>>> The path to a Republican Senate takeover narrowed to the point of vanishing Tuesday night

One of the most remarkable dumbass moments of modern politics. A wonder to behold.

Tonight I’m already seeing coverage of O’Donnell lying about carrying districts against Biden that she didn’t carry. They’ll eat her alive and spit out the bones.

The path to a Republican Senate takeover narrowed to the point of vanishing Tuesday night, as marketing consultant Christine O’Donnell upset Rep. Mike Castle in Delaware’s Senate primary and likely dashed the GOP’s hopes of capturing the seat in the process.

I call BS. If the GOP was concerned about that seat they wouldn't have stated that the republican candidate is incapable of winning and refusing to support or endorse the republican candidate...they came just shy of endorsing the democrat. So I don't believe the GOP wanted to win a majority, they just wanted to reelect their RINO buddies.

It will be interesting to see how many Castle supporting “republicans” support her in the general election.

She’ll probably lose, because it’s a liberal state, but sometimes I think I’d rather see a dem elected than a damn RINO.

I heard Rove say this. It is absolutely outrageous, both for him and other establishment types who JUST DON'T GET IT!

If the pricks who consider themselves so above us common folk could realize what a winner a conservative message is, it would be a much bigger help to the GOP than trying to stay on the edge of the fence and lean toward the Dems.

There are many advantages to NOT taking control of the Senate this time around. With both the Senate and White House, the progressives will OWN the disaster that is coming.

Better to control the government FOR REAL with an O’Donnel than “for appearances ONLY” with a Castle. Best not have the appearance of responsibility when you don’t actually have it.

What good is a “majority” with a Sen. Castle that betrays the GOP 9 times out of 10? Did we enjoy Lincoln Chafee so much we need another? I am just fine with us not winning the majority. We will still have enough conservatives to filibuster every Obama bill until 2013, radical nominees/judges, etc. But Obama can’t blame us for his failings since we won’t be in the majority.

A month ago everyone was saying O'Donnell couldn't win the primary. So why are so many now claiming she can't win the general election?

It's hogwash. She can win if she keeps her momentum and Tea Party support. I'm not saying she will or that it will be easy. She will need to tear into Coons hard and show people the stark choice between freedom and slavery. Which is really what this comes down to. But if she can do that, she has a chance at winning. Even in Delaware.

If Rove thinks Christine will lose the general election for the DE Senate seat, I think her chances are good. After all, it was Rove’s faulty thinking about immigration in 2006 that led to the GOP’s downfall. So if Rove advises one thing, the opposite thing is more likely to win.

Karl Rove, appearing on Fox News, immediately declared: “We were looking at eight to nine seats in the Senate. We’re now looking at seven to eight. This is not a race we’re going to be able to win.”

Hey, Karl. If it's seven to eight this election, we'll clear out the rest of you guys in 2012 and succeeding years. Buh bye.

Republicans may call it a nightmare, I call it a sweet dream!

That bastard Castle voted for impeachment hearing on George W. Bush. Enough said.

“Other leading Republicans openly lamented O’Donnell’s win. Karl Rove, appearing on Fox News, immediately declared: “We were looking at eight to nine seats in the Senate. We’re now looking at seven to eight. This is not a race we’re going to be able to win.”

What an ass. Just another reason we need to take a step beyond throwing the RINOs overboard, and get these entrenched party machine hacks out of the party as well.

Rove did nothing for our party except give us George W. Bush, whose lame-ass Presidency set the stage for the RATS to step in and win with Barack The Destroyer.

Maybe he can get a cushy job as a “commentator” (along with Newt Gingrich - another has-been whose 15 minutes of fame is long past) on Fox News or something, where he can pretend he’s still important.

Screw them all. The people are fighting back, and if we have to ditch BOTH parties to get the job done, we will.
