Full statement by John Cornyn, head of the NRSC:
“Let there be no mistake: The National Republican Senatorial Committee – and I personally as the committee's chairman – strongly stand by all of our Republican nominees, including Christine O'Donnell in Delaware.
“I reached out to Christine this morning, and as I have conveyed to all of our nominees, I offered her my personal congratulations and let her know that she has our support. This support includes a check for $42,000 – the maximum allowable donation that we have provided to all of our nominees – which the NRSC will send to her campaign today.
“We remain committed to holding Democrat nominee New Castle County Executive Chris Coons accountable this November, as we inform voters about his record of driving his county to the brink of bankruptcy and supporting his party's reckless spending policies in Washington.
“In the weeks ahead, we will decide where to best allocate additional financial resources among the large number of competitive races at stake this November. While it's not in Republicans' interest to advertise our spending strategy to our opponents, it's worth noting that just yesterday, the NRSC's first independent expenditure ad aired in support of Dr. Rand Paul's campaign in Kentucky, where we firmly believe that he will win in November.
“It remains to be seen whether national Democrats will provide a similar level of support for many of their nominees, including in key battleground states like Indiana, Ohio, Florida, Arkansas, Illinois, and New Hampshire, among others. The Democrats' indecision reflects the fact that Republicans are on offense in at least 12 Democrat-held states and we are leading in the polls in seven of those 12 states.
“Finally, on the matter of the New Hampshire Senate race, while the results remain outstanding, we continue to monitor the Republican primary race, and we stand ready to fully support whichever candidate is chosen as the nominee.”
NRSC should have kept their mouths shut.....They’ll not get the donations, they need to support their friends.
Donate till it hurts folks to the R in your districts and those that need your support nationwide.

No, the Republican party just made ITSELF the third party. The Tea Party is now winning AGAINST them.
What’s to discuss? The Republican Party deserves nothing from conservatives. Support conservative candidates and let the RNSC eat merde.
If the Republican party will not support conservative, non-RINO candidates, then the party does not deserve our support.
I agree, time to play the long game.
What or who was his source?
The Rockefeller RINOs know their only shot at survival, their only shot of clinging to the tiny shred of power they have left is to sabotage real conservatives running in liberal RINO states in New England and the like.
If a candidate like O’Donnell does as well as the RINOs who always run and lose, or heaven forbid, does BETTER than their vaunted RINOs, then the RINOs’ last argument is exposed for the lie it is.
They get their candidates because they have convinced Republicans, just as they did with McCain in 2008, that only a RINO can win. But the last time a non-RINO was allowed to run was Ronald Reagan. Not coinicdentally, it was the last time a Republican won in New England.
Republicans are starting to doubt the RINOs’ propaganda.
That is why they must destroy O’Donnell, to make sure that the truth doesn’t finally get a chance to see the light of day.
THE WAR IS ON!!
THE PEOPLE VS WASHINGTON DC!!!
I’ll back the people every time.
Sincerly,
NRSC
I hope she told ‘em to sod off.
This is an extraordinarily dumb argument. The composition of the electorate in a closed primary, is significantly different that the composition of the electorate in a general election. Democrats routinely run far-left nutbags who can win Democrat primaries in Conservative States, but do not have even a slight chance of winning in the general election.
I will say... I hope she wins, but it could be a pyrrhic victory of sorts. O’Donnell gives the best chance for the Dems to hold the seat.
Similar (but different) to Angle in Nevada.
That said, I hope they both win.
I went to her site Christine2010.com to donate,...it’s down. ?
“So they will support the Democrat, I guess they want to lose.”
I’ll bet money that Castle ends up pulling a Scuzzafazza and endorses Coons.
That’s okay, because they won’t have any money to support anyone anyway.
These idiots don’t seem to understand where their money comes from.
I’ve been PISSED at the GOP since Juan “you have nothing to fear from a President Obama” McCain..and his loud mouthed daughter too.
They’ve been playing the same game on us as the rats for wayyy too long.
This is really starting to bother me. She won and you will not support her? Why would the GOP be so defiant about support for her? Do they know something we don’t? Either way, the GOP lost so much more!
