ICCtheWay: “No Rove’s statements are not right - had things gone Rove’s way he would have been extolling Conservatives to get behind the Republican nominee and YET Rove could not muster that fortitude when His Candidate LOST the race.”

Well written! How many times have we heard we MUST get behind the candidates? Well, we have a candidate. GET BEHIND THE CANDIDATE, YOU SO CALLED REPUBLICANS!

(Yeah, that includes you, too, Rove)

Making lemonade from lemons....

It’s an opportunity to show the REAL power of the Tea Party if she can do a Dean-like money raiser over the internet. Christy-thon.

Then, when she wins in November, she can mount their heads right next to Castle’s.

Republican control of the Senate is a long shot at best, but this almost guarantees that we will not regain the majority.

The GOP wins 12 seats and Control 52-47-1. Now get on board with the program.

I would think that Sarah should watch this race even more closely than before.

According to you and Rove, only Mike Castle could beat the democrat in November... well, I’ve got news for you, Mike Castle couldn’t even beat an unknown candidate by the name of Christine O’Donnell.

Nope. Capano was a political aid to Castle, but very far removed..

As another bit of news...the judge in the Capano case, Bill Lee, recently ran for Governor...twice.

His nomination was, truthfully, another Delaware GOP Blue Blood Ruling Class SNAFU but I liked him cause I’m a true crime buff. I got a pic of me with Bill Lee somewhere.

Well hell, I got a pic of me with Mike Castle somewhere but I’m not proud of it.

Please refresh my memory. When have we seen a true conservative elected in any of those states?

I am a realist who is looking at the polling data

Polling data is very sketchy and changing rapidly in this cycle. Prior to this primary O'Donnell was polling -10 against Coons. And she was polling behind Castle in the primary. Well, she won by 7 -- the polling was about 10 points off. A lot can happen my friend - don't write this one off. And we've yet to publicly vet Coons.

commanding numbers this year. There goes any chance for Obama or the Dims to move any of their agenda.

Exactly. It is only expensive if in the big picture it makes a difference. We will be able to stop Obama in the House. We will still have at least 41 seats in the Senate so if we don't have to worry about RINO desertions we can filibuster anything or any psycho judges Obama sends at us there too. We won't be able to pass anything over an Obama veto no matter how many seats we win this year. Even if we went 19 for 19 we would still be seven votes short of a veto override.

RINOs must understand that they will pay a price for repeatedly betraying the party. I know there is no such thing as a 100% candidate. I can understand that a person can be out of sync on one issue out of principle. But Castle was not voting lib occasionally on principle. He was voting consistently lib in exchange for cynical personal gain. He needed to go. Complaining about the price is like saying we shouldn't lock up criminals because the jails cost so much.

Pay the price. It sucks but in the end a stronger conservative party is worth placing one seat (that wasn't ours to begin with) into jeopardy.

Rove just flat lied about her; He smeared her in such a vile fashion.

I believe this was just a foretaste of what we can expect from the GOP establishment from here on out. They have finally realized that the cozy and profitable arrangement they've had for so long with their supposed Dem "opponents" which has allowed both parties to deceive and fleece the American people is threatened. I fully expect them to join ranks with the Dems and MSM and go scorched-earth on conservatives.

The masks are finally coming off and it ain't gonna be pretty... g

Because we are sick and tired of being told to be good little soldiers and hold our collective noses and vote for the lesser of two evils

No, in the primaries, we are clearly being told to vote for the more evil of two evils.

Fortunately, that isn't happening.
