Mark Levin asked Jim DeMint what he thought about Charles Krauthammers remarks on his radio show. DeMint has endorsed Christine ODonnell.
DeMint talks about Palin taking the arrows and providing cover for other candidates like Nikki Haley at around 3:30.
There's only one person who has shown that characteristic on FR that I know, and he did that with his own posts. He also has his own personal cult of worship.
Quoting your own stupid posts back to you isn't too hard........
Did you miss my sarcasm tag?
Haven’t you been told NOT to do this trolling?
I will second that!!!Someone squash that little bug!!!
They all ready have been doing that to Michelle.
Michelle has no problem taking care of herself.
She is better at handling the media than Palin any day.
I’m not a big Palin fan to be honest.
If it came down to Palin -vs- Barry, then my reservations about Sarah are mute and I would support her.
I just think there are better candidates.
Nobody on planet earth is better at handling the media than Palin, she is under the most vicious, white hot, sustained, and coordinated media attack in our history, and is surviving it, and is leading as the most effective politician in America.
From your first post on this thread, you personalized it by directing your comments at VR, instead of sticking to the subject at hand, namely that Senator DeMint and Sarah Palin are on the same team and that he appreciates her and her work.
I always find it interesting when supporters of others come to threads posted by the person with whom they hold a personal grudge, and immediately divert the subject of the thread, like you did here, instead of taking on the poster on the threads where the poster committed the 'offense.'
I will remind you that I post the majority of pings for Sarah's List, so it seems to me that you're erroneously singling out VR (as the face of Sarah Palin on FR) for personal reasons of your very own: "Your support of Haley Barbour." VR is certainly in his right to disagree and to point out his reasons for disagreement and that doesn't make him "obnoxious."
As it happens, Haley Barbour is the Governor of the state in which I own a home. I think he's likely the best governor in the US, and I know he was one of the best RNC chairs, but I am not planning to support him should he decide to make the run for the nomination.
Take care, Artemis Webb. There's really no need for the infighting. The candidates all welcome healthy debate.
“Sarah Palin is the ONLY one out of the bunch who has the energy, charisma, fighting spirit, Conservative bona fides, and political power with which to take on and defeat Obama and his Chicago goons in 2012.”
Nail head.
The PROBLEM is a problem with personalities. The problem is not Sarah Palin. It is the WORSHIPFUL approach taken by some of her supports. The problem is those supporters going out of their way to degrade other good conservative candidates. It is way past the point of simple enthusiastic support. It borders on obsession and mental illness.
Here is my question to you:
Let’s say Jim DeMint or Haley Barbour or some other conservative wins the nomination; are you going to support them or take your bat and ball and go home?
I’ll not only support our eventual nominee, I’ll work in the campaign, (as I’ve always done) and I’ll be particularly happy to work in Haley’s if he’s the nominee, because he’ll have headquarters here.
Exceptions include, but are not limited to: Romney, the Huckster, and anyone not 100% pro-life.
“It is way past the point of simple enthusiastic support. It borders on obsession and mental illness.”
Palin gets attacked every single day on FR. So, what you seem to desire is that those attacks go without response.
Obviously, her more intense supporters will defend her. Calling those supporters mentally ill is irrational and how Leftist consistently attack. Try a different tack.
I’m very glad to hear that. I agree with your exceptions and I apologize for misjudging you personally.
On this very thread, on post #66 ansel12 said, "Nobody on planet earth is better at handling the media than Palin". Now you can call that enthusiastic overstatement but I consider it yet another indicator of obsession (mental illness).
Rather than get childish again like your embarassing obsession keeps driving you to do, why not merely name some examples, specifically those among American politicians that we can recognize.
Palin would have been destroyed back in September of 2008 if she weren't the best that we have ever seen, she not only succeeded, she helped build a movement and is the leading conservative in the country.
I didn’t know that you had misjudged me. :)
I would only ask you to consider that Sarah is attacked regularly, if not several times daily, by a small but nasty cabal of posters who get some sort of kick out of trying to degrade her, so some of her supporters hit back, and sometimes I hit when I spot those nasty post, and other times, I just consider the source and do not waste my time.
Speaking only for myself, I’m not into trying to find fault with other conservatives, but I read almost all the linkd criticisms, just like I read the linked criticisms of Sarah, whenever the links are from sources other than journ0lists or the lamesteam. Sarah Palin has her own PalinTV unfiltered, so her speeches and her interviews are posted there without ads and without editing.
Recently, Haley Barbour gave a speech to the Christian Science Monitor and a few clips of the Q & A were embedded in the CSM article and again in the Life News article. A couple of posters elected to read into his remarks that he was not 100% pro-life because he said that election 2010 was about the reasons the Tea Party addressed, and added that he thought Mitch Daniels had it right.
Well, of course Mitch Daniels has it wrong, but Haley Barbour was speaking only to election 2010 which is a referendum on Obama and Tea Party’s issues. Nonetheless, I took heat, (until I got bored) from some posters who refused to believe or understand precisely what Governor Barbour’s remarks had addressed. And so it goes.....
Your entire presence on this thread is to attack the GOP favorite and the freepers on this thread, how you think that helps the remote chances of a Barbour is beyond me.
This podcast is super! LOVE Mark and Jim DeMint!!
Don’t know what uber elite tea Krauthammer just drank.
You're the one who needs to take a trip to the local nut farm, bub.
