GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The anti-Muslim leader of a tiny Florida church says he was lied to and is rethinking his decision to cancel burning Qurans to mark 9/11.
Pastor Terry Jones earlier Thursday had backed off his threat to burn the Quran after he said he was promised that a planned Islamic center and mosque would be moved away from New York's ground zero. Muslim leaders denied there was such a deal.
Later outside his church he said that the imam he thought he made the deal with "clearly, clearly lied to us" about moving the mosque.

I would immediately get up and walk out (and never set foot in such a place ever again). Anyone that continues to attend and support any "house of worship" that would ever do that seriously needs to have their head examined. Sheesh.

The more I see people against this, the more I want to see korans burned, just to see if muslims have any restraint. If everyone wasn;t so outraged about it, my feelings would probably be different, but I am sick of the PC Police.

Sadly, it's the law in my town. For skateboarding, too. Cops have stopped in front of my house as my son and his friends skate in my driveway and "advised' me to have them wear helmets. I tell them very nicely that private property rights still exist in some cases, and this is one of them. Then they drive slowly away, off to slay another dragon.
