In a bold move that is likely to be much discussed in coming days, Fox News said today that it will not cover the burning of the Quran on Saturday if Pastor Terry Jones follows through on his plan to burn copies of Islam's sacred book.
The proposed book burning by the Florida minister and his congregation has become a topic of heated conversation and coverage with everyone from President Barack Obama to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and two generals weighing in.

This story is being driven by the Leftist media and the Jihadists. They both need a cause celebre. The Leftist media will characterize the pastor as being representative of conservative Christians, Tea Party people. The Jihad crowd has another reason to burn American flags or bomb the US.

The media has turned this into the Global event it is, and now it will be seen by tens of millions, thanks to their fleet of satellite up-link trucks, and mobs of reporters.
They will give it more attention than the anniversary itself.
Someone will and will show it on YouTube.
It seems that the media will exploit and wring out every drop of coverage and sensationalism that they can on this demonstration, and then censor the actual short, demonstration itself from the American audience.
We may have to depend on foreign sources for the censored video.

So be it if the Rev. wants to burn the Koran. No one talks about the American military burning bibles in Afghanistan so they wouldn’t offend the Muslims. A note; last night Michael Savage reported that he would not be surprised that two members of the security who were murdered recently were unarmed while escorting a US General in a meeting with a tribal leader in Afghanistan. Supposedly they may have been unarmed so not to offend the trial leaders. Let’s hope the facts of this murder come to the surface.
As far as putting our troops in harms way if the Koran is burned.......duh the troops are a target as soon as they land in Afghanistan’ Saturday is 9/11, 9 years after savages slaughtered 3,000 plus Americans, and we’re worried about offending the slime.
