Interesting how opponents are labeled bigots, yet it’s the Obama administration, General Petraeus, and this guy who are CONFIRMING that Muslims have a serious violence problem.
This kind of “if / or” argument ignores history. The Islamic ‘Radicals’ have attacked the USofA ever since they got sufficient petrodollars to be heard outside their own borders. To say that persuasion to move this “in-your-face” Cordoba House will change even a single rabid anti-American radical or to keep one from being formed is so ludicrous as to be unworthy of further consideration.
The Mosque does not even exist right now. So he himself is causing the National Security issue. He has become a national security threat. Needs to be arrested immediately.
Worse still, they are admitting they have no way to protect any Americans from retaliations. That includes our military in harms way hamstrung with ridiculous ROE restrictions. The radical Islamists have a hair trigger for mob violence as is evidenced by riots, murder, and mayhem in connection with pictures or critical writings or rumors about defacing or destroying their holy book, the Qur'an.
But where are the demonstrations in connection with their destruction of Christian churches, killing of Christians, burning of Bibles, our burning of Bibles so as not to disturb their sensibilities? When will we stop behaving like the vanquished, and stand up for our God, our culture, our way of life?
He is correct, the building of the Ground Zero mosque will signify the end of hostilities on the other hand if Americans do not submit and allow the building of the mosque, then we will face the consequences.
This is not a project of Imam Rauf alone, our elected Muslim president Barack Hussein Obama is more deeply involved in this than you can imagine and if you dont think so then take a step back, clear your head and ask yourself the simple question as Why a President of the United States would come out in such strong support of a "private real estate project" and why would the State Department finance his junket to the the Middle East during the month of Ramadan (the significance of which will elude almost all Americans)

Rauf knows very well that in Islam the month of Ramadan is the one month in the year that the Muslim governments cannot refuse to make contributions to build the mosque.
You see Rauf cannot move the mosque now, because he sold not just the idea of building the mosque, but the location as well. The location that holds a special significance to all muslims wordwide.

• Concerning the burning of the Koran:
Most people start this conversation by condemning the Pastor for burning the Koran because it is inciteful. What they also do is add in one sentence about our free speech and how he has the right to do this.
What is left out is everything else people say afterwards, about how this is anti-Christian, this is against common sense, it will cause riots, it is hate filled, the Pastor is a nut, blah blah
What everyone ends up doing is making a SINGLE sentence on his right to dissent and then 8 or 9 sentences about why it is wrong.
THE POINT: All that does is create an air of APOLOGY to Islam and Muslims. It makes us sound weak, we sound sorry, we condemn one of our own in the same breath we support our own. We end up telling the world we don’t want to upset people with the actions of one rude person so please believe the rest of us don’t want to hurt you.
It is a HUGE apology attitude to ISLAM in general.
As Richard Cox said, I am glad there is one guy who is telling the truth. And yes, I would not recommend this, but for God’s sake!

Vicevich himself, all the 3 hours of his show today when he spoke of it, made one or two sentences in his times of how that guy has the right, but he always said MORE about how he disagreed with the guy and then let most callers speak of how they disagreed with the guy doing it, their Christian faith, inciting riots, blah blah.
By NOT confronting the Islamic world on this, we are ABANDONING our rights as Americans, and THAT is the larger and more prominent issue in all this.
It’s okay to have billy Clubs at a voting booth, but it is not okay to protest a mosque at Ground Zero.

The despicable thing about the koran burning is that it appears under a Christian banner. There is nothing Christian about what 'pastor' Larry is doing. If we burn korans in our country, in all likely-hood, they will burn Christians in their countries. If 'pastor' Larry had a real Christian conscience, he would not put his already heavily persecuted brothers and sisters in greater peril.
Opposing this ridiculous stunt is not submitting to the muslims, its picking the right fight. You don't oppose a heinous philosophy by burning its books, you burn its logic instead.
