I’d love to get more specifics on what they are talking about so I can see for myself.

Hey there, I wish I could give you specifics. I've only been here a little over a year. I talk with plenty of people though and half of them say the same thing about the shady lawsuits.

It seems you've got an even split of patriots and lefties in the Phoenix area, California refugees who messed up their state and came over here or home grown. There's been contention between lefty state officials and people doing their job that's resulted in an open power struggle.

Joe Arpaio wins these on both legal and moral grounds, and that drives the left nuts, thus more lies and propaganda.

The sheriff has actually busted public/state official for corruption - something you never see. So yes, he has very real enemies within our own state government. Joe has flair and is a political threat, and the long knives of the left have been out for him for years.

That's just what I've picked up in a year's time though. You might hear different from other Freepers who live here.

Me? I donate directly to Sheriff Joe.

Cheers!

Thanks for the response. I did a little digging late last night to see what I could find. Bottom line, the SPLC is nuts! My spidey sense went off when my Dad mentioned that he donated to the SPLC. I just knew I had heard plenty of their liberal drool in the past.
