The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
Thank you for all you do in support of our great country! And, you know, I thank you for the active support you show for President George W Bush....you represent those of us who also admire, love and respect W but can’t get to the events.
I’m praying that, after today’s elections, our country and our states will return to the right path!

These are the only 2 pics I could find that were taken of Bush and his daughter. *Sigh* Oh well, at least there's the election to look forward to tonight. Let those libs in SF bask in their drug-induced glory while it lasts. Their Democrats will be wiped out and then they'll cry their eyes out! It's our turn to get this country back on the right course!
Star, thanks, as always, for the ping to Dubya news. That pitch in Texas was rockin’ and so was the ovation. Did my heart and spirit good.
Welcome ... it was SO fabulous.
Truly .. so normal.
I am listening to/watching Brian Kilmeade’s radio show this morning while working around the house. Dana Perino is a guest. She has THE book with her! I saw her thumbing through it to show something to Brian and wondered if that is what it was. Now I can see it on the table and of course recognize the cover. So jealous! :)
Do you feel better this morning Patty? Yeah!
It’s wonderful that you were able to get tickets. You know that you carry all the Dosers warmest regards and best wishes for our W on your shoulders;-)
I was thrilled to see the results in Ohio. You must be so pleased. We had a great day in Pennsylvania too.
Now we need to drive it home, big time.

***** SET YOUR TIVOS FOR MONDAY NIGHT ****
George W. Bush: What did he see as worst moment of presidency?
Excerpt:
The Bush-Lauer interview will air at 8 p.m. Monday on NBC (WESH-Ch. 2 locally) under the banner Matt Lauer Reports. Bush also will join Lauer live on Today on Nov. 10.
*snip*
Its one thing to say, I dont appreciate the way hes handled his business. Its another thing to say, This mans a racist. I resent it, its not true, and it was one of the most disgusting moments in my presidency.

Bush pondered jettisoning Cheney
Excerpt:
He was seen as dark and heartless the Darth Vader of the administration.
*snip*
Accepting Dicks offer would be one way to demonstrate that I was in charge, he writes.
But in the end, Bush writes, the more I thought about it, the more strongly I felt Dick should stay. I hadnt picked him to be a political asset; I had chosen him to help me do the job. That was exactly what he had done.”

Always .. a man of integrity.
Great pics. Thanks for posting.
Can’t wait for spring training. LOL
Oh, I was cheering for Texas to win after my Phillies were eliminated. I know how bad it feels to lose.
Next year !! ............
PS. Thanks for all the great pictures and posts you have put up.
Of course, the liberal Lauer HAD to push for more controversy .. jerk!
~~~~~~~~~~~
Lauer: I wonder if some people are going to read that, now that youve written it, and they might give you some heat for that. And the reason is this
Bush [interrupting]: Dont care.
Lauer: Well, heres the reason. Youre not saying that the worst moment in your presidency was watching the misery in Louisiana. Youre saying it was when someone insulted you because of that.
Bush: No, and I also make it clear that the misery in Louisiana affected me deeply as well. Theres a lot of tough moments in the book. And it was a disgusting moment, pure and simple.
The full interview will air on the Matt Lauer Reports special on Nov. 8 at 8 p.m., the day before the former presidents book is published.
Right on, Dubya! Give NO quarter to the lies.
Ha, I knew Lauer would be snarky. I don’t know why our W would give one of the first interviews to him. Oh - just thought of this - Jenna works for Today. OK makes sense.
I hope his book skyrockets to #1. I’m helping him. ;-)
Wonderful ! Thank you.
Indeed
Thanks hon for the ping. I’ll be watching.
Always!
His book is going on my wish list for Christmas! WOOHOO! LOL!
