The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
Yeah, this is going to rock! The Bushes are there at the game to give the Rangers a much needed boost. Let’s all cross our fingers and pray they will make a stunning comeback, they need it!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU -——I CAN’T WAIT!
Great photos. Oh God I miss President Bush and First Lady Laura
I was over there working at the mall while he was working at
his former home! Wish I could have been THERE!
Thank you, pattyvita, for these great pics!!
So sorry to read about your Mom’s death. I pray for God’s Peace for you and your brother.
Wow, are these your pics? They are awesome.
I’m rooting for Texas since my Phillies are not in it this year.
Great pictures. I’ll have to watch - even if it is Matt Lauer. He’ll find something snarky to say, I’m sure.
(((Dolly,))) so very sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Prayers for God’s comfort and grace during this difficult time.
not my pics- they came from zimbio (first set) and daylife (second set)
Thanks for the heads up — my video/dvd recorder is prepped and ready to go!
pattyvita: Love the photos from the GWB Museum — can’t wait to watch Lauer’s interview with our president (Lauer better be respectful)!

jlyspio: Love the photos from tonight’s World Series game — the President, Laura and Jenna look GREAT! . . . Can’t wait to see the President throw out the first pitch tomorrow night!
A great day for both the Rangers and A&M......(and Baylor, too!)
Doesn't Laura look radiant? It struck me that she looks so young!
They still have a calming and secure effect on me when I see them!
Loved watching the video of his infamous first pitch and can't wait to see father and son tomorrow!
I totally agree. Ah...the good ‘ol days! It made me feel like I was getting a chance to see some really good old friends. They were so happy and hubby and I were happy FOR them. I can’t WAIT to see those pitches by REAL MEN! ;-)
The George Bush Presidential Library is hosting some very important people for a very important cause Thursday night.
Former President George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush, along with Former First Lady Laura Bush will officially open the Heart Truth Red Dress Exhibit.
The collection is a special exhibit featuring red dresses worn by numerous celebrities and first ladies in an effort to raise awareness of heart related diseases.
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 p.m., Laura Bush will be speaking at a forum starting at 5:30 p.m.
Starting in 2003, Mrs. Bush served six years as the founding ambassador for The Heart Truth, an organization established by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute designed to bring awareness to women the risks of heart disease and promote positive health and wellness habits.
