The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
THREE THOUSAND !!
;)
And I wasn’t even trying! :)
Thanks for the pings. I’ve been out of the loop for a while, but I appreciate all the pictures and stories you and the other Dosers have posted so I can keep up..
You’re very baseballmom. With all the negative press President Bush gets almost everyday from the liberal MSM during this election season, I’m more committed than ever to post only the good, positive stories/photos on him and his family.
Kaslin, STARWISE and the others have done a great job as well to keep this thread alive.

Great pictures!! Thank you, patty!
So miss him, wonder how disappointed he is in Roberts...
My pleasure dmd25, anytime!
I imagine President Bush is crushed by what Chief Justice Roberts did yesterday. It really isn’t fair that he is being blamed by plenty of folks here on FR for appointing Roberts and by proxy passing obamacare when GW did not pass that law in the first place!
It’s Obozo’s and the democrats’ fault for passing and signing it into law. The anger should be directed at HIM instead! The attacks and vitriol at Bush is unjustified.
Heres the video of the Bushes arriving at the Lusaka, Zambia airport:
