The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
Thanks very much, dearest Kaslin.
I agree with OhioWFan, but he might temporarily hang in a nice place for a photo-op, then move it to the cellar or the dart room.
You are welcome and yes she is
Yeah he probably will do that
Jenna is such a pleasant speaking young lady. It runs in the
family as the whole family is most gracious to everyone.
I think they will always be my favorite “first family.”
I did see her this morning but enjoyed the video when I
could catch every word without interruption! Thanks!!
I got to see the interview with Jenna last night. Couldn’t catch it yesterday morning because I was busy. She and her sister Barbara are just marvelous young women. They’ve inherited the best of their parents’ qualities - good looks, their passion of giving back and serving to help the less fortunate. I’m kinda frightened about what the Obozos might do with President Bush’s portrait tomorrow after the ceremony is over.
Thanks Kaslin for posting the interview, appreciate it a lot!
Spotlight on Jenna Bush Hager & Barbara Bush
Photos were taken in Barbaras NYC apartment
Former President George W. Bush shares a laugh with home plate umpire Ron Kulpa, Rangers President Nolan Ryan, and former First Lady Laura Bush as the promotion "Nolan Ryan Snow Monkey Night" is announced over the public address system between innings during the Seattle Mariners and the Texas Rangers major league baseball game at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington on Monday, May 28, 2012.
Texas Rangers owner Nolan Ryan and former US President George W. Bush stand for the singing of "God Bless America" at the game between the Rangers and the Seattle Mariners at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington Monday, May 28, 2012.
Pres. Bush at the bike trail near Dallas yesterday morning.
Always good to see OUR president having a good time with friends...and with Laura! Great catch, Patty!
Also, the pictures of his daughters are wonderful. What
beautiful and poised women they are....like their mom! :)
Thanks for the photos. They are of course keepers. I will watch the portrait ceremony tomorrow, but most likely with the mute button engaged as soon as zero opens his mouth, I watched the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony yesterday with the mute button on, because I wanted to watch Pat Summitt receive it. My husband used to make service calls to her father’s farm to repair his tractor and farm equipment
what beautiful women! classy and cultured. AND LOVE that Jenna has slimmed down a bit. She was adorable before but makes that next step to glam!
Wow on apt also. Surely costs a pretty penny
thanks as usual Patty for these & the Nolan Pix
Beautiful photos of the twins, patty. THANK you for posting them!
Nice! Love the laughing one. Thanks again!
I agree, it’s wonderful to see GWB as the fun, carefree guy he’s always been. The 8 years he spent in the White House definitely took an emotional toll on him. So I don’t blame him for getting out there and having the freedom to do whatever he wants to make up for lost time and life.
Yeah, Jenna and Barbara have come a long way in terms of their fashion style. They used to dress up in jeans and t-shirts while they were college kids. Now they look stunning!
You’re very welcome, angcat. Same here, I just roll my eyes in disgust everytime Obozo comes on TV.
I always admired him because he never took any of the abuse and
insults personally. But he has made his new life one of
giving and serenity and that’s a great way to go out!
You’re welcome Kaslin, glad you like the pics. I’m going to record the ceremony on the DVR tomorrow, since I’ll be gone in the morning. When I get to watch it later, I’ll fast-forward Obozo’s speech so I don’t have to hear what he has to say.
You’re very welcome Dolly. The Bush girls have become stylish fashionistas. NYC is the fashion capital of the world, so it’s not surprising that they want to look good and feel comfortable in their own skin at the same time.
I recall that back in June 2010, Barbara paid over $900,000 for the apartment in the West Village neighborhood so it’s definitely not cheap.
You’re very welcome Ohio. The laughing photo is my favorite too, classic fun-loving Dubya!
