The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
I was thrilled and delighted to see more pictures this morning. Just can’t thank you enough, Patty, for posting all these great pics for our enjoyment!!
Thank you, thank you!!!
Thank you! Those are really nice.
That just BURNED me!! How DARE they...he’s done nothing but good around the world!
Well, I know that he was able to rise above such vicious slander and just do the work he intended to do. GW tends to not let detractors put him off message. He’s always been like that and it’s one of the things I liked best about him as president. He just did what was right...not what others clamored for...when they were clearly in the wrong. It made me feel secure that I was being protected somehow.
We get mad for him but he just shakes it off. :)
Ate up every single picture and believe these beautiful photos reveal true greatness in action.
The linked article regarding President Bush's efforts to save lives and the incredibly awful way the world, but especially our press here at home have ignored his work breaks all of our hearts, I know. The nobel prize remarks in the article remind me of just how crazy and upsidedown our world can be.
On the otherhand, the photos remind me of of just how wonderful a President GW was , how loving and tender and genuine, President Bush remains. He is the real deal. (And, btw, I DO KNOW the meaning of is! :^) .)
Everytime I see that poster with President Bush's beautiful face and the words 'Miss me yet?' I silently cry out YES!
Well, the nutcases at Amnesty can keep beating a dead horse, but you know they’ll never be able to arrest Pres. Bush.
They tried to get the Canadian government to arrest him when he visited there in October, but the Canadians said no. The government officials in Tanzania, Zambia and Ethophia basically told Amnesty, “Screw you!” GWB is a hero in Africa and he’s more than welcome to come there again.
Amnesty has got to be a throwing a temper tantrum because they think Dubya has outsmarted them and been able to roam free everywhere without a hitch. :)
Exactly. President Bush’s charitible works have been ignored by the the leftist press. It’s a sharp contrast to the way the media covers Bill Clinton’s humanitarian causes and drooling themselves over him. They pick and choose who they want to cover and it’s not that surprising.
I agree with you on the photos. Cameras don’t lie and we see the compassionate and loving man GW has always been.
Pattyvita, thank you SO MUCH for finding and posting these great pix our our President and Laura and their girls. Oh my gosh, we never would have seen these without your hard work.
I’m so impressed how our President and Laura just go quietly about their work to help others the world over, not expecting any accolades or awards. This is the Lord’s work they do. I just love them.
Thanks baseballmom, I appreciate that. I’ve been passionate about shining the spotlight on Pres. Bush’s African trip. I just couldn’t sit back and let it go ignored and unnoticed, especially by our so-called lamestream media.
At least here in this part of FR, his humanitarian works are getting the attention it deserves, albeit a small one.

GW, Laura and their daughters just completed their African trip yesterday. Ive added 33 photos of the Bushes in Ethiopia on Sunday as part of the last leg of their tour. All can be seen at posts #2,473, #2,474, #2,475.

Heres three videos to watch of GWB and his family in Africa, stuff that the American media didnt bother to cover:
Bush visits Zambia orphans
(You get to see Barbara and Jenna dancing with the Zambian kids and GW bobbing his head to the beat in this short clip!)
George W. Bush visits sites in Addis Ababa before the conference
(Local coverage of the President in Ethiopia. Unfortunately, its spoken in a different language. The only English youll hear is from GWB speaking to a reporter. But its still worth watching. It lasts 2 mins, 9 secs)
President George W. Bush on The 16th International Conference on HIV/AIDS & STD in Africa
(GWB gives a ten minute speech at an AIDS conference in Ethiopia)

Everyone who ever cared about President Bush needs to see these, and see that he is continuing to DO GOOD, and serve his Savior, Jesus Christ.
Just beautiful. God BLESS President and Mrs. Bush!
THANK you, patty!
thanks .. don’t think there are any face-shots of him
